The Earth needs to kill off about 2-3 billion humans so it can reclaim land for the original inhabitants (plants and animals). Without sustainable lifestyles with an eye towards the planet, hardly any animals will survive (including us). We are killing all the diversity in the world. Eventually we'll pay the price in full.

I did not say whether or not the expert was right. Go back and read my post. Someone took advantage of the stuation to bash liberlas. This was not a liberal or conservative issue and the comment was made about a person that did not identify their political pursuasion.

And unfortunately,liberals especially on the far left espoused those same ideas in print , radio and TV more than you can ever observed from the conservative groups if ever. Besides , a lot of conservatives are hunters and fishermen and with their liberal counterparts are more active in doing their share than what people like John Q can ever do .

That is absolute horse dung! I have heard that argument for years. Hunters and fishermen claim their license money supports conservation. I'm sure that's why they bought their licenses, to support conservation. I'm sure many hunters hunt just because they are concerned that the herds are too big. If you believe all of that, then I can't wait to tell them about Santa coming down their chimneys with gifts.

Hunters and Fishermen cannot hunt or fish if they hunt/fish every animal out of existence and they know that. They have a much better motivation to conserve wildlife than you in front of your computer can ever do .Maybe spend some time reading hunting or fishing magazines. They are very much open about conservation . Goggle it sometime, you might learn something .

You assume things about me you don't know. I live in the country. I know lots of hunters and fishermen. It also interests me that someone sitting in front of their computer pans me for sitting in front of my computer. It is also idiotic to say that hunters and fishermen care more about the environment than non-hunters and non-fishermen. In case it escaped your notice, all humans breathe air and drink water. There may also be a few that are concerned about animals that don't hunt them. You don't have to kill something to care about it. Maybe you should google human need.
