<quoted text>It's the educated man again Di8k Head! One quater of the population of the area hit is Tibetan. Learn to read and buy,or steal, a history book about pre Invasion Tibet. Or better still go and get to know the people, including the Tibetans in Chengdu, if there is a god then he made a very beautiful place for some beatiful people. Go there, You may never wish to leave. The horizen is very close to the end of your nose to be so short sighted.
what the "Free Tibet" asses care about is get their slave master life back, they treated all other Tibetans less than animals anyway. This is truely them.

What do you mean by, slave master life style? Was it like a colonized state before? I don't know much about Tibet history.
It is pretty much like Europe in dark age or worse - the old Tibet was ruled by Dalai Lama who was king and god. The majority of Tibetans were slaves who were not allowed own anything and they can be sold or bought or killed by their lords. Lawfully, slaves were less than animals. There are about 30% Tibetans were monks and there were also very small percentage of Tibetans were "free people".

I can not believe I live on the same planet as such people as the ones I run into on topix. It is sickening. The way we treat each other. Man kind doesn't deserve the grace we receive form our maker. So many people allow their lives to be ruled by primitive emotions such as fear, arrogance and unjustified hate. Such selfish people that you can not feel a ounce of grief for the loss of life. This makes you no better than the beast who walk on all fours.
You said it so well. Yes, they are worst than the beasts that walk on this planet. How disgusting and low in their thinking and hatred for others. I don't think these beasts have any education on morality and respects for mankind. Shame, shame and shame on them!

<quoted text> How much power american citizens have over thier government, depends on your perspective of things.
Yes, an I was referring to the worlds perspective. America boost about its great democracy as if it is the most supreme form of government, that represents all people. No matter how blown out of proportion that may be, that is what the world believes. And that is why they hold citizen responsible for the Governments actions.

The limping Dragon...
I don't know if this is retribution.China thinks it could win all wars, battles and become super power hub including warning to tibet of independence. But one thing china forgot that it will "never ever win".And thats the natural disaster war.Even if they have nuclear weapons. One major disaster is enough to perish the nuclear plants and the people.Never underestimate a natural disaster.God knows how many more disaster china will face.Veru soon it might me “The Injured Dragon” Only time will tell.

FREE TIBET!!!!!!!!
Now I agree there should be a FREE TIBET. I could not understand why Chinese government try to keep a group of people like yourself. Totally shameful and making yourself a fool. Your distasteful thought has smeared all the people's good intention for freedom. You have absolutely no hunch what human rights really mean.

In spite of many incidents happened this year, Chinese have become more united than ever before. Chinese, all over the world, showed love and patriotism.

In addition, Chinese government has shown a great deal of improvements in terms of responding to disasters. No blames can be called upon their reaction to the earthquake.

Tibet issue has also revealed that many western media had bias in their news and comments, besides the too obvious mistakes. For that matter, Chinese people would tend to believe more in their own news stations.

After watching this year's NBA All-Star game, I thought US had won a war in New Orleans. It doesn't matter how much damage the disaster can cause, as long as people are callous and brave, they can rebuild their homes.

I have made my point and it has gone over your head. If the "yellow man" gains on the "white man". I pray, they will treat your children better than you have treated them in the past and present.
