Most interesting geological site on the earth for exam?

Im having an oral exam in geology soon, and I was hoping somebody could help me out.
For the exam I will be asked to present a geological site anywhere on the earth, in relevance to these points:
1) Compare the areas bedrock to the coordinates on the earth (Volcanic activity? Former lithosphere plate colission? etc....)
2) Find out the geological resources in the area (minerals etc.)
3) evaluate why the climate is how it is (On what latitude, sea currents, winds, is it rainy- in that case why? Tropical storms? Etc.)
4) determine the hydrologic conditions and the sources for freshwater (groundwater, glaciers etc.)
Does anyone have any ideas to a place I can pick? A few of my classmates have already had their exam, and places like Bangladesh and Iceland where "too simple" according to the examiner, because they didnt have all the points listed above. I have been thinking about the Andes Mountain in Argentina, but then I have nothing on point 4 (hydrological conditions).
Thanks in advance!

Try some place easier with more online resources available, like central Florida.
