She ushered special education teacher Anne Marie Murphy and several children under her desk. She moved other children behind a bookcase or barrier. When Lanza came in, Soto was the only one he saw. She faced him. He killed her, and then he killed the children and Murphy under the desk. Murphy died shielding a child in her arms. Other children escaped the classroom. Sotos actions saved childrens lives.

Vaccines may cause spontaneous genetic mutation because they include thimerosal mercury, aluminum and formaldehyde. ALL are genotoxic, neurotoxic, mutogenic and are endocrine disruptors. All can cause spontaneous genetic mutation. Adam Lanza was born and initially vaccinated as a baby in the 1990's before thimerosal was removed. The 1990's ushered in the autism epidemic that saw autism numbers of the 1980's 1 in 10,000 increase 800% or more all around the USA. Today Utah and New Jersy are 1 in 29 for boys.

I see all these ads for psychiatric pills on t.v and they say in a low voice they hope no one hears that they can cause sucidal thoughts.
Was this shooter taking the pills that can cause suicidal thoughts in children teens and young adults like the t.v ads say they do ?

Purpose: To examine the relation between variant alleles in 3 CYP450 genes (CYP2D6, CYP2C9 and CYP2C19), interacting drugs and akathisia in subjects referred to a forensic psychiatry practice in Sydney, Australia.
Patients and methods: This paper concerns 10/129 subjects who had been referred to the first authors practice for expert opinion or treatment. More than 120 subjects were diagnosed with akathisia/serotonin toxicity after taking psychiatric medication that had been prescribed for psychosocial distress. They were tested for variant alleles in CYP450 genes, which play a major role in Phase I metabolism of all antidepressant and many other medications. Eight had committed homicide and many more became extremely violent while on antidepressants. Ten representative case histories involving serious violence are presented in detail.
Results: Variant CYP450 allele frequencies were higher in akathisia subjects compared with random primary care patients tested at the same facility. Ten subjects described in detail had variant alleles for one or more of their tested CYP450 genes. All but two were also on interacting drugs, herbals or illicit substances, impairing metabolism further. All those described were able to stop taking antidepressants and return to their previously normal personalities.
Conclusion: The personal, medical, and legal problems arising from overuse of antidepressant medications and resulting toxicity raise the question: how can such toxicity events be understood and prevented? The authors suggest that the key lies in understanding the interplay between the subjects CYP450 genotype, substrate drugs and doses, co-prescribed inhibitors and inducers and the age of the subject. The results presented here concerning a sample of persons given antidepressants for psychosocial distress demonstrate the extent to which the psychopharmacology industry has expanded its influence beyond its ability to cure. The roles of both regulatory agencies and drug safety pharmacovigilantes in ensuring quality and transparency of industry information is highlighted.

Various forms of eugenics have been practiced over the centuries to no avail.
Predictability to criminal/learned behavior is shoddy at best let alone discriminatory to someone who simply may possess the same genes as a child killer.
How "scientific" will this study be. Do they have a dna sample of a young child killer to compare to the dead adult ie a lifetime of exposure to drugs, enviorment toxins and/or chemicals in common household items. How much affect did any mutation or abnormality actually have. Is the combination of up bringing, physical and social enviorment, abnormalities or a combination of normal genes????
No matter how you do it it still winds up being a cart horse argument.

Well when Adam Lanza was NOT ON drugs he didn't kill anyone.
He was on Fanapt when he became a killer. Kind of obvious what caused his actions. Warnings on Fanapt describe Adam's actions to a "T".

...in the heart of men. DNA that.

What a waste of tax payers dollars.. Studying DNA????
How about studying the black box warning that is on psychotropis drugs...
Reading the warning explains the entire tragedy.. It says that the pills/or withdrawing from them can cause this..
It ist hard to go on the net and see for ourselves, how many massacres like this are by people (many who never had mental illness,) but were taking or withdrawing from antidepressants... can you imagine how many violent crimes happen (murder suicides) where the public arent even told that the person was on or withdrawing from drugs..
Why are we taking the bait to allow ourselves to become distracted? We know what happened....
