This is nice because it

"advances a dynamic model of the global warming problem that has two state variables and a social utility function that includes both benefit from GHG emissions and cost of temperature increase due to anthropogenic GHG concentration in the atmosphere. A restricted version of the model, with a constant environmental absorption capacity, yields a straightforward optimal control solution."
