These bed bug bombs and foggers tend to do the inhabitants of the property more harm than the bed bugs!
Stick with using a vacuum and a steam cleaner and perhaps a non non toxic bed bug spray or bed bug dust as back up. This worked for me although it took a lot of time and energy but it was fairly inexpensive (I rented a steam cleaner compared with what a couple of my friends spent. Treatmentforbedbugs.com |

Bedbugs are one of my biggest fears. Whenever I go to any hotel, no matter how nice or pricey, I check everything you can think of. Even then, I'm paranoid and can't wait to leave. I know, I know. Ha!

Thank you. My family thinks I'm silly. I check between the mattresses, behind any pictures or wall hangings, in curtains, around outlets & around the headboard of each bed. I know they're so hard to get rid of. I'd want to move and leave everything I owned!(obviously, I wouldn't, but I'd be freaked) ha! |

I'm sure your family would not think it so silly if you did end up taking bed bugs home! Keep up the good work :) |

No, they wouldn't! You're right. I think more people are starting to check things out at hotels/motels. Bed bugs don't discriminate. Anyone can get them. I just don't want to be one. |

Judged: 1 Heat treatments using a bed bug steamer are very effective at killing bed bugs. Steam that is greater than 120°F is immediately lethal to bed bugs and their eggs. Most steamers have tip temperatures up to 220°F. Bed bug steamers can treat almost any environment, furniture piece (such as a baby crib), bed or clothing. this particular model is on the cheaper side but still very effective. http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/vapamore-mr... |
