Adulticides are controversial chemical sprays/fogs that seek to stop the breeding cycle of adult mosquitos. These chemicals, although EPA approved, come with warnings, cautions and very specific application instructions. When the City of Euless applies adulticides to wide spread areas it becomes impossible to ensure the health and safety of the citizens. The city of Euless poorly communciated the use of adlticides to its citizens, failed to publish which adulticide was to be in use nor did they give specific times when the applications were to occur. This has put the public at risk.

Additionally, the use of adulticides is in direct violation of property rights due to the dispersing nature of the chemical spray/fog. Applications of this nature can and should not be applied with out the home/land owners approval. Many other cities in our nation have set forth very strict public communication campaigns when adulticides have been used, including an option to join a 'no-spray' list for homeowners that do not wish their land, families and animals be subject to these toxins.
