Lots of viruses are sending kids and adults to the doctor this week, but it's a different kind of "bug" that has local doctors concerned.

This McGeorge is always claiming the sky is falling. Last week they had a video of a young lady that almost lost both legs with a spider bite. Turned out it was a brown recluse and it happened in Kentucky, not Michigan. I have researched the spiders I see and none of them is poisonous. A wolf spider was at my door waiting to enter for winter. They are harmless. I didn't let him in as he did not have the password. One time I lived in an apartment and found a spider as big as a small hand. Now that looked serious. I put is on the drive and it could barely move. Maybe it could have surprised me though. I let it go on the grass.
