Blahblahblah Megatherium is biggest and strongest blablabla nostalgic story (you all know the drill)

Megatherium, no contest. It weighed 4 tons, that's 4 times larger than the biggest of the other contenders.

3) Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum. Underrating you say? I say YOU are overrating, my dear friend! Mega Beasts overrates EVRATING! Silly rabbit!
I mean, WTF, WHY DA HELL do people take this seriously. Honestly, i believe there is some massive phorosrachid(Sp, prolly) surge, Mega Beasts is probably trying to make it look "amazing" by having it kill much, much, MUCH more famous predators. The bear-cat "dealio"(yesiknowtha t'sslang) is close, you canNOT say that one utterly demolishes the other, tis' wrong.
1) UR CEILING CAT?!? WTF!!! Y U TROLLIN?!?

2) I don't care if u arent consistent. Honestly, it lets us kno who u r. And da link failed again.

3) I KNO DAT MEGA BEASTS OVERRATES ITS ANIMALS. However, a) they never explicitly say (as far as I kno) dat its Kelenken. Honestly, I think its Titanis. And no, I do NOT overrate it.

4) Bout da bear-cat dealio, I didnt mean to come across dat way, but Im just sayin dat I think da bear would beat da cat most of the time. Faster, probably stronger, WAAAAAYYY stronger jaws, WAAAAAYYY larger paws/arms/claws, etc...

Hmmm. Seems like Im gonna be back 4 a while.

1: Thanks :D
2: Megatherium =/= a moose. A megatherium was arguably the size of a small mammoth, could rear up on it's hind legs, had huge claws, and if we're to believe Walking with Beasts, had a skin like chain mail. Adult megatherium are virtually indestructable to the other contenders.

1) No prob :P

2) All is true, but a) There is NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVA dat Megatherium's hide was "like chainmail" dat I kno of and b) Wolverines are to Moose as da odas r 2 Megatherium. U kno, an analogy?

Has there been any Megatherium skeletons found that show signs of predation?

Well, I doubt that Smilodon would even try to take down a Megarterium. Smilodon's main tactic was to tackle and bite the throat, and Megatherium would be too heavy to do that.
Kelenken would probably have a better chance, as it's main form of attack would be probably pecking, but we really don't know much about Kelenken. The last competitor, the Short Faced Bear, probably has the best chance. When standing up, the Short Faced Bear would be able to grab at Megatherium's throat, and it would be game over for the sloth. Also, I would think that the sloth wouldn't be very fast, giving an advantage to the predators. My vote is for the Short Faced Bear.

According to WWB's companion book, fossilised skin has been found inside caves, that has small bones beneath it's skin.

And I get the analogy, but mooses aren't as well armed as Megatherium.

Nope. The megatherium would beat arctodus up like hell. Stay dead, 800 pound bear.

Arctodus would be the ruling predator for these reasons. It was fast. Some guess it could run as fast as 45 mph with the help of its extra long, powerful limbs. It was also surprisingly quick footed and could jump and turn quickly. The Smilodon and Keleken don't stand a chance. The megatherium wouldn't go down eazy but icant see one winning against Arctodus because it doesn't have much advantages other than greater size. Arctodus wins.

Oh, you shut up!!! You want me to put some sh!ts on you?!!! Yer T!T. Megatherium would win, it's claws we're bigger, and it was much bigger. Arctodus would make ONE TINY INJURY to megatherium, and megatherium will win.
