who'll win?? they are both incredibly smart and while the raptor has a deadly "sickle-claw", the opponent has very versatile, dexterous hands, i'd say Troodon its brain was perhaps its most formidable weapon , it was a deadly killer.

They weren't intelligent at all. Troodon was only as smart as an Ostrich. When you ask someone if they think an Ostrich is intelligent, they generally say no.

By the way, Velociraptor would win this one. It's bigger.

by dino standards, and troodon was bigger than velociraptor, troodon weighed 45 kgs , velociraptor 15 kgs.

Velociraptor is listed at weighing 15 kg, while Troodon was listed at 27-45 kg. Velociaptor had a stronger bite, stronger arms, and had a bigger foot claw, while Troodon was relatively smarter. I think with all these traits in mind, it's 50/50. It can really go either way.

When did they figure out the bite force of both and strength of arms? Just curious.

they were abote the same size, I have a book on dinos, they both had sikle-like claws,and troodon was smarter!!!!!!!!!!Smartnes mattered in those days.

We know the strength from spaces in the bone where the muscle used to be. I've heard Velociraptor's leg was as strong as a modern man's arm.

many people do underestimate some animal's intelligence , for example hyenas are said to be stupid but actually they are the third smartest family of animals on planet earth,after apes and parrots.

Velociraptor was more agile than Troodon. Despite the fact that Troodon had a higher intelligence, Velociraptor would probably win.
