Not directly, because they are lizards.

Dinosaurs would be closer related to crocodiles and birds then they would to lizards.

Yes, Dilophosaurus is right. Dinosaurs have more common with birds than Crocodiles or Lizards.

We are all related. However, Crocodiles are more closely related to Dinos and birds than they are to the dragons.

Dinos, birds, crocs and dactyls are all Archosaurs, along with various Triassic crimson crocs.

Snakes, dragons and other lizards, worm lizards and mosasaurs are all Squamata.

Both groups, along with primitave anapsids and various others make up the group "Reptile" So birds are reptiles.

This things like squamata and archosaurs doesn't exist, dumb humans only make this up cause they're jealous about Komodo dragons being a living Dinosaurs.
Australians, Americans, and Europeans are jealous about Komodo Dragons being from Indonesia, so they make this up to show that they're animals are living dinosaurs, but that doesn't exist, Komodo dragons are living dinosaurs.
END OF STORY, jealous European.

Don'.t worry I am not jealous of Indonesias nature, because I don't know any dinosaurs from there.First of all I am not a jealous American and how do you know that there are 10000 fossils buried under Indonesia.I admit that I was being mean but shouldn't you also back up your statements with proof. Give me 1 link that says lizards are direct relatives to komodo dragons.

Are you high?

Who in their right mind would be jealous of Indonesia of all places... lol.

The Komodo Dragon is a varanid. Varanids do not fall within the definition of dinosauria. Thus Komodo Dragon is not a dinosaur.

HOWEVER, here is a living, breathing dinosaur you can see in the modern world: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons...
Ferocious, isn't it.
