I've seen posts like deinosuchus vs megalodon which isn't fair in size terms. This is much more fair. Who wins?

This is not much more fair. Actually this is not even a contest.
Megalodon:18-20 meters long, 100 tons heavy.
Purussaurus:(BTW, what purussaurus? There is three different species. I suggest you mean Brasiliensis)10,5-12 meters, 8,5-10 tons.
Fair?

It's a good question. Purussaurus was about 40 feet long, Megalodon 52-80 feet long. The thing is, they were both top dog in South America. What does Megalodon have? Let's see:
1. superior bite force
2. huge jaws
3. obviously size
4. homey in the ocean
5. good skills
6. agility
one con is that it has no other bones. Just cartiledge.

Puru has:
1. thick skin
2. manueverability and someone who sees its opponent's tricks
3. good skills
4. knows both habitats
5. can twist to tear things
6. bite force (though inferior to Meg)

Well looks like odds are considerably opposing to puru, but stories can tell a lot. Here it is:

A Megalodon decides to head towards the shallow sea. A Purussaurus sees it and checks it out. But as soon as those huge jaws Meg has opens, he knows he's in trouble! avoiding them Puru goes to reach to bite. but Megalodon tries to prevent it and so Puru goes away, not realizing that Meg is just inches away from him! Meg gets the end part of Puru's tail. Puru zips down to the floor and gets away. there will be pain and agony, but the wound is going to heal just in time to save its life.

Then Mega heads in for another bite.Puru goes on land.Puru opens his mouth to
take another bite.Puru almost kill mega, but mega has lots of blood.Mega dies slowly
but mega is not dieing. He bites purussaurus in half!

Mega wins.

Ok. 12 tonne Caiman vs 60 tonne Shark. Is this thread for real? Are you guys for real?

You might as well go on and make un-descriptive stories about a Fire Ant fighting a bloody boulder. I mean seriously, logic please.
In fact...

Looking at both animal's sizes.
Purusaurus 11-13m
Carcharocles 15-18m
It seems quite clear that the shark is just too massive.

Well if Purussaurus can penetrate the shell of Megalodon then it can win.

I see what you did there.

Megalodon was more successful in the long run, though; it survived from the Devonian to the Jurassic while Purussaurus just had the Miocene to itself.
