Some scientists think it is starvation. For example, allosaurus didn't have enough meat to eat. Here's a story.
In the late Jurassic, it was getting very hot. The plants were too hot, mad the brachiosaurus, apatosaurus, amphicoelias, camarosaurus and some other duck bills and sautopods didn't have enough to eat, then became extinct. Then ceratosaurus and conpsanagthus and other small carnivores starved to death. Then came the apex predators of the time, saurophoganax and allosaurus, starved to death with no meat to eat.
