Yeah right.Juvenile Liopleurodons are 45-50 feet long.Liopleurodon Ferox is estimated to have reached atleast 82 feet long and 150 tons. And the even bigger and very little known of liopleurodon gigas is 112 feet long and atleast 175 tons. The bite force is 16.5 tons. They are only featured in some rare books, old ones dating 40 years back. These specimens have 4 foot long eye sockets..Thetylosaurus(the largest mosasaur) is about 66 feet long and weighs 7.6 tons and bites at 7000 lbs per inch.It was very fast and could take down 30 foot long sharks.BUT,.. Liopleurodon is known to have eaten sharks, little plesiosaurs, quid(inculding ammonites), the 25 foot long ophthalmo saurus, the 86 feet long leedsicthys and sometimes smaller pliosaurs like the monster of aramberri, and eating up 30 foot long theropods(dinosaurs) killer whale style.ON a one on one match, the liopleuroodon wins.BUT,if the mosasaur brngs a pack of 8 guys, it would give the lio touch luck.Liopleurodoons are fiercly territorial, but still they have packs of their own when they're around 50 feet long.Cleary the winner would be liopleurodon.

Lio is around 16 to 18 meters(as big as megalodon) I think Mosa was 15 meters long. Mosa has speed advantage while Lio has strength advantage. Lio's wight could be 50 tons while Mosa's weight is around 7 to 9 tons, but it's way faster than Lio so I think it's 50/50.

Mosasaurus maximus is 18 meters long.
Liopleurodon ferox is only 7 meters.

L.Ferox was only about as big as an orca. The 16-18 meter thing was because of that documentary that used data from I think the Monster of Arramberri (a giant pliosaur). Mosasaurus was quite heavily built compared with other mosasaurs. I think an orca-sized animal would be too small to pose a major to it. A better competitor would be the monster (mentioned above) or P.Funkei also known as Predator X.

Liopleurodon is more like the size of a (large) Great White Shark, both in terms of weight and to a lesser extent length, while Mosasaurus was probably the one that weighed as much as an Orca despite being much longer.

[Liopleurodon gigas was way bigger than any other ...the biggest jawbone found so far is 3 meters long...which is 17 to 18 % of its lenght......THAT MEANS IT IS AT LEAST 18 METERS LONG....FACT AND END OF STORY!!!]Mosasaurus maximus is 18 meters long.
Liopleurodon ferox is only 7 meters.

There is no such thing as "Liopleurodon gigas"... the large jaw bone, however, does exist, nicknamed the 'Cumnor Mandible', it is believed to be a specimen of Pliosaurus macromerus. At around 12.7 meters and 19.3 tonnes, it is far shorter than you claim too, but it is still the largest known pliosaurid.

There is no such thing as "Mosasaurus maximus" either, and the largest verifiable specimen of any Mosasaurus species is only 13 meters long, although there is a partial dentary that _may_ indicate a 14 meter long animal, it's fragmentary nature makes it hard to scale properly.

You are right about Liopleurodon ferox, however.

So you are saying that the 'better evolved' Liopleurodon has an advantage, yet say the Mosasaurus would win?
Btw, Mosasaurus is a more recent animal. So by your logic it should be 'better built'.
Um I'm pretty sure he said mosasaur is more evolved so you honestly should just fell stupid for reading it wrong<3

1. There are in fact, books that state that Liopleurodon rivalled even today's blue whales in mass.
2. No, it isn't 7 m. That's ridicolously small.
3. You haven't backed up your claims.
4. If you can, please stop speaking in a pirate's language (or perhaps you simply can't speak English well since you're from Italy).
Actually, liopleurodon was only just a 7 metre predator. You're probably thinking of predator X, which is basically a liopleurodon on steroids, predator X is about 40m long and weighs 100 tons.
