Carchorodontosaurus or Giganotosaurus were the king. T-rex is 3rd. First Giga and Carch are bigger and have the jaws strong enough(never mind bone crushing)to crush rexy's neck after two bites, if they're unlucky 3 bites. They're also more agile. The king is between those 2.
Oh, and by the way, Megalodon wasn't a dinosaur, we are talking dino king
I don't get this denial of intelligence, to take it to a simple extreem, a smart Dino would easily beat a dumb one.
T.Rex was a killing machine, an adult would have experience in hunting and outmaneuvering fish eaters.

First, did I mention Spinosaurus, second Giganotosaurus, Carchorodontosaurus and T. rex are 50/50

Carch and Giga are slightly larger than T.rex(a matter of just a few feet and animals that are the sizes of double decker buses) and their slicing bite is less effective than T.rex's crushing bite. Carch, Giga, and T.rex are all about the same for speed and agility, so thats not really a factor. T.rex is more intellegent, but that probaly won't mean much. T.rex's better sight would give it a decent advantage, making its deadlier bite more precise than Carch and Giga's. All in all Carch and Giga are close, but they get trumped by T.rex in most catagories.

There is no "king of the dinosaurs", I say. ""
BTW, PAZB, Tyrannosaurus Rex means "tyrant lizard king", not "king of the dinosaurs" or "dinosaur king." Dinosaur means "fearfully great lizard", not "tyrant lizard." Tyrannosaurus rex may be the king of the tyrannosaurs, but not the dinosaurs.

The dinosaurs had no government junior, and neither does the forum.

Dinosaurus Rex is coming!1

Also, dinosaur means "terrifying lizard", from "Deinos", meaning "terrible"(But the actual meaning is basically "terrifying:) and "Sauros", meaning "lizard" or "reptile".

And you knew a relevant xkcd was coming, didn't you?

Didn't I say that in the last explanation? Am I speaking a foreign language? I wonder what made you think that I said something other than you here.

I would never argue with a person who uses unexplainable nonsense. My estimate for the Deinosuchus genus is 26-61.75 feet. 'Nough said for me. My estimates are not radical either.

Unexplainable nonsense?

I'm pretty sure anyone can understand my post #49. Except you. You're special... Very special indeed.

King of the tyrant lizards - king of the tyrannosaurs - is the full meaning of Tyrannosaurus rex. Not king of dinosaurs.

Hyperbolic names ftw.

Basilosaurus (king lizard), Dracorex, Khaan (ruler)...

Please, then explain to me how Carch and/or Giga would prove superior to T.rex.

Or what you think they are,
the term Rex does not refer to king in the sense that you lot are babbling about.
It simply refers to it's size compared to other creatures of the same ilk.
Think on, these names were thought up when less was known about them than today.
Their names do not necessarily reflect their way of life specifically.
