who do you think would come out on top. I think allosaurus, but I am not sure. What do you think.

I'd say allosaurus too, because of its size.

I just wonder about Afrovenator. I dont see much info on it, but it did grow almost as long as Allosaurus, from what I was able to find.

It was not nearly as large, however.

I'll have to go with Allosaurus fragilis.

It would have a chance, just not a significant one.

I was wondering about the dinosaurs sizes. Allosaurus was I believe avrg 32 ft long and 3 tons. I am not really sure of the rest at least in weight which is probobly the most important advantage in this battle.

Well, megalosaurus is on eof the least known about dinosaurs in the world, so we can't really guess at the weight of it.

Thats funny because it was I think the first dinosaur ever found.

One of the first, and yes, it has struck me as ironic as well.

Not the first ever found, the first ever identified. That is a key difference.

Eyah, the first ever found could have been by a species not human.

Additionally, the Romans, Chinese, and possibly other ancient civilizations discovered dinosaur bones that were misidentified.

I know. The oldest description of a plaeontological find was found in China.

Correct. They were believed to be dragons at the time.

Heaps of people believed dinosaurs to be dragons, which are probably born from dinosaur finds.

Absolutely. The same holds true for Protoceratops fossils being viewed as Griffins by the ancient Romans.

They didn't, or at least they didn't conquest it. I believe the bones came via trade with other nations at the time.

I read this in a book many years ago. It is possible that it is erroneous.

Fair enough. And I think that they'd first have to get in to conquest it, so it should be "they didn't get into it, let alone conquest it".:)
