103 tons is the maximum possible for megalodon, 50 tons is conservative. Both are credible, though 50 tons and more is safe.

Megalodon is a clam, genius. I'd think "P". Funkei would be able to puncture its shell.

Don't play with the words you genius, "megalodon" or "meg" has been and is used as common name by almost any shark specialist. Topix is not a peer reviewed data so cut the shit please.

OK, let's just call everything by its specific name now. If we did that for every species, who would recognize anything? Megalodon and probably "Rex"- except there's quite a few of those.

No one would understand what "Rex vs Fragilis vs Carolinii vs Saharicus vs Aegypticus" meant. If we don't call anything else by its specific name, why should C. Megalodon be special?

Predator X was 10-13 m (Pliosaurus funkei), a pliosaur that length would weigh in the 10-20 tons range. Megalodon was in excess of 16 m and was 50 tons +. No contest.

And you're wrong, wider, broader jaws allows more easily to take on a big body than elongated jaws.

the reptile wins this easily 8/10 times. sharks are quite fragile creatures and pliosaurs had superstrong bite, Predator X would be just too much.
PS: also i don't think a megalodon could kill a blue whale.
if it keeps on biting it sure it can!!

You're ridiculous.

Shark skin is extremely hard (made of dermal teeth) and thick.

A whale shark has a skin thickness of 15 cm.

Predator X was much much smaller (10-12 m against 15, 18 perhaps 20 m for megalodon), much smaller jaws (skull length of 2-2,4 m against jaws up to 3 m wide for megalodon).

Faster ? Predator X (appropriate name is Pliosaurus funkei) cruised at 5 m per second. Megalodon was at least as fast ad the modern great white.

Check your facts right goddamnit.
