Who do you think would come out the winner 9 out fo 10 times if a crocodile fights a big cat(Tigers, lions, Leopard etc) I would say crocs, because from what ive read there have been lots reported indents of crocs killing big cats. And crocs have strong skin which are near bulletproof, fully grown crocs have been known to throw around 400 to 500 pound big cats like rag dolls.

So who do you think would win?

In the tiger vs croc video, was that a fully grown croc? It looks kinda small.

I assume you're talking about the black and white video. No, that croc probably wasn't full grown. However, in the other video with the tiger, the croc is clearly very large, yet the tiger prevails anyways.

The croc tends to have the disadvantage of being cold-blooded, so it's not as active. Still, if it can bite the big cat, or crack it along the side with it's tail, that cat is down quickly. I'd have to say the croc, as it usually has hometown advantage.

I completely disagree. Croc's skin is not that tough. You must be very stupid to think Croc's skin is bulletproof cos I've Bear grylls cut gator skin with knife.

I also doubt what you say about the croc tossing a cat like a ragdoll. A croc may be able to lunge out of the water and grab a large herbivore. But a big cat is alot more agile than a croc and has alot better hearing than the herbivore to detect the croc coming out the water. The cat can leap out the way of the croc's jaw, turn the croc over to attack the soft underbelly and one bite to the neck means death to the croc. Plus the cat's jaw is designed to rip and tear and crush the windpipe where croc's hold their prey down until they drown.

This post has absolutely no scientific basis.

A big cat, say, a lion, is more agile tha a croc. The croc, however, is much quicker in an instantaneous strike. The lion wouldn't have time to move away once the croc got close enough to strike.

Crocs do not have especially soft underbellies.

How could a big cat flip a crocodilian? They are incredibly heavy and have a very low COG.

Big cats do not have teeth designed to rip and tear at prey in order to make a kill. Their jaws are designed to fit around an animal's neck, clamp down on the jugular vein, and cease blood flow to the brain. Crocs have necks thard are far to wide and armored to do this effectively.

Many bullet proof vests can be cut with knives. A croc's skin could be bulletproof and still cutable (not that I am saying that it is bulletproof)

Please stop believing mankind's preconceived notions of the animals that it lives with.

Thank you for telling us all that Deinosuchus, the terrible crocodile, was, in fact, an alligatorid.
