Governments need to learn their place again, the internet is run by capitalism, and it will remain as such forever. Google is powerful online because they do not hinder capitalism, they do not hinder freedom online, and they work to try to prevent governments from forcing them to give up details of their users ... unlike many other companies. In order to compete against them, you have to embrace their way of doing business.
