I have been ill for 21 years, beginning with a tick bite. Back then my Wallingford based MD said that my liklihood of contracting Lyme was less that of being smashed by a lightening bolt.
I,ve had a low grade fever, a migrating rash, CFS, and fibrimyalgia. I kept taking jobs that required less and ess physical labor. WE lost our home, but Socia Security coudn't understand why I aid down 24 a day.
Today I went to see the 37th physician since this started. He didn't demand perfest western bot studies, or thousands of doors of neuropsych tersting- I told him I've gotten stupid and labile.
Anyway my friends he has perscribed doxycine 600 mgs per day in divided doses. Can I get some help from all the accrued wisdom out there? Are there side effects to watch out for? Are there signs along the way that it might be working? Any info gladly received. love to those who suffer and those who help--kath
