from the article: "In the 150 years since the publication of Charles Darwin's landmark book, "On the Origin of Species," researchers have accrued massive amounts of evidence in support of evolution and the mechanics behind the process. Yet today only 4 in 10 Americans believe that evolution occurred."
This is because 50 percent of the population has an IQ that is below average and that 50 percent has had their head filled with supernatural quackology. These dumb creationists make it sound as though a scientific "theory" is something you dreamt up after being drunk all night! The best way to believe in the creationism dogma is to never go to school. |

You've misused the word "average." What you mean is "normal." They're plenty average, but they're not normal.

If you REALLY want to see what science has to say on the points brought up, check out An Index to Creationist Claims... http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/ Check out the "complete list" and search for the claim you want to see. This site has hundreds of creationists claims and gives the solid science that refutes each and every one of them. If you are intellectually honest, what you will find is that in every case the creationists either misrepresent some fact, or will ignore some fact that makes their argument entirely false. |

You call that facts. Where did you get your PHD out of a box of cereal. Please. I'll leave you with a couple of simple questions. Where do you think the ORIGIN OF INFORMATION came from? And then a second question. Where did that come from? I suggest you watch the following if you want true scientific facts and not theories that have been disproved years ago:

You call that facts? It's some old preacher expounding on his argument from incredulity. Where did HE get his PhD from? The Bible diploma mill that will give you a PhD for $10 and a few pages of a photocopied "research paper"? Further, where did YOU get your PhD? The back pages of the Lying for Jesus Ministry Newsletter? |

You need to be more specific. Information is anything that imparts knowledge. Thankfully my computer is too old to support youtube where any inbred backwater hick can post crap and another can cite it as evidence, kind of like the Discovery Institute. |

Chuck Missler is NOT a scientist:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Missler He is also the famous "peanut butter man": http://www.youtube.com/watch... Only just behind Ray Comfort "the banana man" in creationist idiocy. |
||||
You clearly have a learning disability. The origin of information? LOL Information is defined as knowledge. Most of our knowledge has come from science. The crap you have polluted your brain with is called dogma. |
||||
Not you again! You and your brain-drain videos are nothing but pimps for greedy preachers, snake oil for the those who are too cowardly to think for themselves."Rub it on, and it will make all those nasty doubts go away." Huh? The only innovative aspect they contain is the ability to further numb the minds of the intellectually limited. |

Ontological argument. Bullshit. If you want to stump people, how about the two atheist nightmares: peanut butter and bananas? |

Chuck Missler is NOT a scientist: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Missler >>>Gillette And notice that he has moved to Coeur D'Aleine, Idaho, that nest of Aryan Nation, white racist, supremacist Jew-hating Christians. A coincidence? I wonder.... |
||||

>>>Ray
You call that facts. >>>Gillette Yes, the TalkOrigins "Creationist Claims" page is chock full of facts and detailed explanations by legitimate scientists DEBUNKING virtually every silly fundamentalist Christian misrepresentation of science. You want us to spend a full hour listening to your greasy hillbilly preacher absolutely massacre logic and intelligent discourse with his silly ideas, and yet you won't take even a half-hour to go through and read the actual responses of scientists to your Lies for Jesus. How fair is that? Gee, it's almost as if you actually DON'T WANT TO LEARN anything. That couldn't be true, could it?:) >>>Ray I'll leave you with a couple of simple questions. Where do you think the ORIGIN OF INFORMATION came from? >>>Gillette Why don't you first define "information" for us, in specific, concrete, scientifically-acceptable terms. Then, perhaps we can talk about it. Betcha can't! >>>Ray And then a second question. Where did that come from? >>>Gillette Where did you God "come from"? If everything needs a cause and a "creator," then so does your God, right? You don't get a free pass. |
