I thought I would point something out here. This is a microbe which has the ability to use arsenic in it's DNA in addition to phosphorus. Talk about a beneficial mutation!!

Our stupid politicians will easily hand out 58 BILLION of our hard earned tax dollars for one simple study such as this and put our children into financial difficulty by running the deficit out of attainable reach. It's the working people of this country who will end up being taken to the cleaners to pay for this. I might understand if we were getting a trillion dollars back in return in some way. Another thing that bothers me about these selfish public office holders is how they will vote for anything and sell us down the road just to get home to have a fun holiday with their family and friends. Our country is being weighed in a balance concerning this same sex issue that is clearly abhorred by God, and this vile and shamful habit will be prevailing unchecked and widespread if it is allowed in our military. At least 30 percent of our good service men and women may leave the military because of this vote. God will not bless a nation that promotes such behaviour.

You REALLY have a hard time with this SCIENCE stuff, don't you.
Noodly James posts an interesting piece of SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH and you go all OFF TOPIC and start ranting about some bull shit stuff you have stuck up your a$$.
BTW, where do you get the 58 billion dollars from. NASA's 2010 budget was 18.7 billion dollars, which was 0.0052 % of the US Federal budget.
Hey, as I recall, eating crab legs and lobster tails was an abomination as well. Goofy "god" you got there.
