The well-manage stage show was conducted by Pilate in coordination with the high-priest, after Pilate convinced them that the man was innocent.
So, in order to appease the crowd, they set up a mock crucifixion and mounted up a scarecrow kind of thing and people thought that a man was being killed.
During that show, Jesus slipped out and ran away to safety, never to come out in the open again.
In order to follow your Quran you are telling us roman soldiers, as well as the rabbis and all the people who wanted Yeshua dead, to be dumb, making appear yourself even dumber than all of them.

The Nazarene was escorted 'till crucifixion. There was no way he could have escaped.

A better translation by T. B. Irving, an American who became Muslim:
"They neither killed nor crucified him, even though it seemed so to them. Those who disagree about it are in doubt concerning it; they have no [real] knowledge about it except by following conjecture. No one is certain they killed him!"
In other words, people thought they were killing him but that was not the case.
It was like a well-managed stage show.
Where is my answer from you BMZ to my Question?
There is no explanation in the Quran as why the Jews wanted to kill Jesus in the place.
So What cause did Allah have to put on a well managed staged show for the Jews?
According to Jewish law, Jesus was worthy of death for being a false prophet and a deceiver and trying to lead the children of Israel astray. The only thing is, if the Jews had their way, they would've stoned him to death according to Jewish law.

I have no idea of what kind of Jewish you are, but Jews don't rely upon any King James Bible who is famous to be one of the most modified Bible, but rather they read the Tanakh. If you don't know hebrew, as I guess, then you can find Tanakh with English translations next to the original texts.
If something doesn't make sense to me, I do look at the Hebrew and have to ask a Rabbi because my Hebrew is very limited. I am Israeli and not ethnically Jewish, I'm from the tribe of Joseph/Ephraim.

It's likely Jesus was crucified, but it still didn't fulfill anything. The main thing about the "crucifixion" was supposed to be the "floods".

If you are speaking of Sabbath:

It's not provable that someone/some deity set up an early workplace rule that required one day off in seven for the benefit of humanity? Illinois still has that rule. It doesn't require that the day be Saturday or Sunday. It just requires that you can't work more than 6 days in a row. Can't it be like many laws of the time that were founded in G-d's name, but were for the benefit of man; e.g., kosher laws to make sure that the food was wholesome?

If you are speaking of Jesus:

Not much of the Jesus story is provable. That's why it's called faith.

You sound like a 21 year old moron.
You deserve to be a Muslim, go for it moron.
Marry a Muslim and move to a Muslim country, that would be great for for you.
You already rejected using your brain to find God.
And you are not using your brain now.
I shudder to think that your evangelical church would ever put you in reach of the public.

She is not Jewish, by her own admittance, silly. Pay attention.

And by the way you are the LAST one to tell anyone what Jews do or dont do. You are clueless. Totally clueless.

In New England we call these blue laws. One by one they have been repealed, usually over the objectives of the merchants, who desire a day off.

The most recent blue law to get repealed in CT was the law banning the sale of alcohol on Sunday. The liquor store owners lobbied vehemently AGAINST repealing this law and lost (to the supermarket lobby).

Hey you are too stupid that you are making things up out of nothing.

Never asked your view, to begin with.

Almost all your posts never liked.

Your qualification? The only you have are sarcasm, lying, idiocy and denying.

My agenda? You mean history and genetic, which your personal definition doesn't find any confirmations with them? Ok

Never said in the post before or the ones before it, I like your response. You are seriously too demented to talk with me. Stay with your similars.

Never considered you my boy. You confused me with Joel, mr Fungus, but its' ok my post went over your head as expected.

He didn't fullfil all the prophecies but only one part of it. Even those he did, we don't know for certainty if he did fullfil for real or they were just attribute to him, for the sake of making appear him as the messiah.

They have them all over. IL has a recent addition; car dealers have to be closed on Sunday. They insist it has nothing to do with religion. It's only to give buyers a day off from buying and sellers a day off from selling. Neither makes sense considering the older law requiring one day off in 7.

I agree Stefano, we're going back 2000 years and there are no records that were kept at the time. The NT wasn't written til several generations after Jesus died so they weren't even written by eyewitnesses.

<quoted text>I've also read thru the new testament 3 times, enough to be able to shoot it down. I've also read Rashis' commentary of the Torah, Elijah loaned me his copies 29 years ago. I stick to the same version bmz, mainly so that I can quote it from memory, that definitely helps with meditation. If I read different translations, it would be convoluted in my mind. The OKJV is incredibly accurate !
Reading the New Testament three times is more than enough. It can be considered a study.

I can now understand why are you able to shoot it down. I have read and studied it more than thirty times and have been demolishing it easily.

It is a self-demolishing manual. I will go though OKJV again a few times.

The gospels definitely show the Roman soldiers as dumb and stupid. Pilate is shown as a weakling, caving in to a mob and a dumb fellow.

The crucifixion story is a hoax. I don't know how can you believe it. Read Matthew and see, who did they run to report the escaped Jesus? And who offered them money?

It is all made up. The Church even wrote the history of Judea and the Romans. lol!
