The strength of the Macedonian people is a survival instinct which makes us endure the most ridiculous of attacks...our approach is to expose, expose, expose...for the wider audience is watching and listening...

So go ahead and make noise while we remain stoic and Macedonian in light of your attacks...

That, I would assume, would be the most convenient way of deflecting a thorny question, like this.

You'll remain an imbecile that has to believe the stupendous lies that have been force fed into your mind for generations. Your only form of attack is to keep the charade up, in the hope that somebody, somewhere, will believe your the descendants of the ancient Macedonians in some parallel universe.

You don't even have to go past one hundred years to read from various sources, that your great granpappies where still calling themselves Bulgarian and their language the same. Your bullshit may fly when your around family and other rabid diaspora Skops, not here matey, not around academic institutes either.

Getting back to the question, what do you tell your child? Do you actually have the nerve to lie to your own child?

Will the statement of a prominent, renown scholar suffice? Here it is to remind you Greeks that you have fooled some of the people in the past but those who count, those who write books, edit historical periodicals, post scholarly researched documents and propagate the truth said:
"Ancient Macedonians culturally, linguistically and ethnically were different from the ancient Greeks and this must be reflected in today's attitudes."
Waldemar Heckel and J.C. Yardley.
Museums are not (entirely) concerned with historical accuracy; their main objective is to display the artifacts, draw crowds and get revenues. They neither validate your points (stop salivating), nor dismiss your intended propaganda purpose. Bottom line is money for their coffers. People see through your thinly disguised intentions. Will not work. You need another 130 million dollars to buy some desperate reporters to "prove" that Macedonia was "always Greek".

You know very well that 99% of scholars and historians of the past and the present have stated that Macedonians were Greeks to the same extent that Athenians or Spartans were Greeks.

Not to mention the thousands of tablets that have been excavated in Macedonia (Greek word), all written in the Greek language.
Not to mention that Macedonian names and toponymes were Greek.

What do names like Alexander , Philip , Cassander , Cleopatra or toponymes like Thessaloniki and Edessa mean to a non-Greek language? Absolutely nothing. They have meaning only in Greek. By contrary your language and your names prove that you are Not Macedonians.

Stop, pathetic Fyromians, enganging with Greek history. You' ve been the modern scourge for Macedonia. But Macedonia has nothing to fear, as Macedonia has survived yet other misfortunes during her long, glorious Greek history (since about 1000 BC).

Their use of the term 'Royal Capital' is misleading. Achea was a royal retreat. Pella was the capital of the Kingdom of Macedon.

Macedonians and Greeks are not the same thing. Not the same language or culture. Like many peoples in the region, such as those in Italy and Asia Minor, Macedonians were influenced by Greece. They were probably somewhat related. But Macedonians were not Greek, they were not considered Greek and their so-called 'Pan-Hellenism' was seen for the patent excuse for autocratic conquest it was.

Stop living in an imaginary past.

My kids know that and are wise enough to face the bigotry and racism that the greek establishment has planted here in Canada...
Canada's rich deposit of multicultural wealth has them living their lives in a tolerant society which promotes cross cultural learning opportunities and knowledge.
The Greek community in Toronto and around the world is so inward looking and ethnocentric that it fails to see beyond its big fat nose...
My kids will be a lot more receptive to reality as they interact with the wider audience...
The Greeks that i know insulate their kids from this (keeping their kids in greek school, greek soccer teams, and only going to greek events) and are being denied the privlege of membership in the richness of the other cultures that are around us...
Insulating children from the quest for knowledge outside of the 3 ring circus of your own ethnicity will only hamper them when they try to make their way in this competetive world...
Open minds, open hearts, open ideas...an exploration and enjoyment of all that the world has to offer is what my kids are being taught...
The old establishment is obsolete given the rate of change out there...
That is what my kids are being taught...explore, learn and appreciate who you are in context of the wider landscape...
So keep to your ethnocentric and insular views...it will get you no where with the outside world...

So the creme de la creme of the world's museums (the Louvre, the MET, the British Museum, the Getty, the Hermitage, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, etc) aren't concerned with historical accuracy?

Fascinating! Yet the intellectual and academic juggernauts and powerhouses of Fyrom somehow are???

Yeah, yeah, yeah! The ENTIRE world has conspired against you clowns in collusion with the big bad Greeks.

It's one grand conspiracy perpetrated by the big bad Greeks since time immemorial!

The big bad Greeks bribed the Persians, Babylonians, Egyptians, Hebrews, Indians, Romans and all the other ancient peoples to refer to the Macedonians as Greeks.

Not only that, but the big bad Greeks have erected entire cities, monuments, and have planted all sorts of artifacts from Sicily to India, and from Russia to Egypt displaying the Greekness of the Macedonians while at the same time erasing any remnant of the ancient Macedonian "lengvich", which wasn't Greek at all but "Proto-Slavic".

And if that wasn't enough, the big bad Greeks, after millenia of covering their tracks, decided to pay off every government on the face of the earth where ancient Macedonian artifacts were discovered, payed off every archaeologist that excavated Macedonian digs, payed off every antiquities dealer, every curator of every museum in every country on every continent in the world, payed off every university, and have just recently "bribed" 370 of the world's TOP scholars.

We're also Reptilians from Alpha Centauri and we run the world from our underground lair at Delphi, the naval of the universe! ;)

Stop living in an imaginary past.
1) The southern Greeks considered the Macedonians to be Greeks.

2) All of the contemporary ancient peoples that the Macedonians came in contact with considered the Macedonians to be Greeks.

3) Greek mythology considered the Macedonians to be Greeks.

4) The Macedonians themselves considered themselves to be Greeks.

What more do you want?
