Christians/Muslims are too embarrassed to admit that the story of the deluge and Ark is a product of fiction. Unfortunately this fable is engraved in their scripture and there is no way out for them.

I can't fathom those who take the flood fable to be literally true, and to believe it happened less than 5000 years ago seem downright retarded.
The flood fable is up there with Santa, the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny for authenticity. But millions of people still believe it to be true when they're past the age of ten.

In several countries, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Indonesia, the film is banned because it exists. Conservative Islamic law prohibits representing holy figures in art and entertainment. But UAE officials have also complained about “Noah” getting Noah wrong. The UAE’s director of media content has said that the blockbuster has “scenes that contradict Islam and the Bible, so we decided not to show it.” Al-Azhar, a Sunni Muslim Institute in Egypt, has also objected to the film, stating it would “hurt the feelings of believers.”

LOL,“hurt the feelings of believers.”

That's what you call hypersensitivity. They are treating their citizens like children. They have to protect the feelings of the children so they won't get hurt or shatter their belief in fairy stories.

Time for then to grow up, the childish gits.

Noah and his family are the progenitors of this world of mankind, and when Almighty God Jehovah changed the languages of his disobedient children at Babel, and man was scattered over the earth, they did take the story of the flood with them, and almost every civilization or nation has a story of a flood in their mythology. Genesis 11:7-9

Jesus taught the flood of Noah's day to Almighty God Jehovah's people, and today God's people believe Jesus is the word of God, the flood is our example to listen and obey the direction for our survival of the end of this world.

The Noah and the flood story is obviously myth and fable. Just like the rest of the genesis story. For people to believe it to be absolutely true can only be through total ignorance or willful ignorance.
It does demonstrate one thing though. Just how stupid religion can make people.

You do realize, don't you, that a title is only a title (to wit, "Almighty God Jehovah" (AGJ)) and that we all have to put our pants on one leg at time? Is AGJ exempt? Does he have a celestial butler who does it for him? If so, what is his name? Bambi? Or does sit on his heavenly throne in the buff? He could, right? It's his real estate after all and he can, presumably, do what he wants when he wants. He could snap his fingers and in an instant a vanilla/chocolate swirl soft ice cream cone would appear. But that's just showboating. What he really likes is a good war with jaw-dropping suffering all around. That much is obvious. But please remember what I said: A title is only a title. AGJ could get the sack tomorrow and be replaced by a younger, groovier guy, like the Facebook guy or the wacky woman who does all the advertising for Progressive Insurance or the Geico gecko or a Muppet or Dick Cheney or some unknown German stand-up comedian who has played his cards right. Or Lassie. Or someone from rural Pennsylvania. Or a fire hydrant. It's all random you know. This bullshit about Noah and the storm surrounding this crappy overwrought movie is, we hope, the last gasp of the believing bonehead class who would be well advised to get a life.

Naysayers, Atheists or just plain critics of the Bible, which includes some scholars of ancient history, are free to believe anything they wish to be true.

Jehovah's witnesses are the only globally united religion to preach, teach and live by God's word the Bible. Since these are the only people that have Almighty God Jehovah's approval for survival of the end of this world, I suggest you READ your copy of the Bible, and let Jehovah's witnesses teach you the TRUTH, and how to stay in the spiritual Ark of protection.

After you have been educated in the requirements for being a subject of God's heavenly Kingdom government, I believe you will have a little respect for true Christian witnesses of Jehovah, as Jesus was.

Unfortunately due to religious zeal and hyperbole, I have had a couple of people insist that the remnants of the Ark had been found but they couldn't point out where.

None of those religions you named worship Almighty God Jehovah, they worship Jesus, a human being who was flesh and blood, not his life giving father who is the only God. John 4:24

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (Colossians 1:15-17)

John 1:1 says that “the Word was God.” John 1:14 says that “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, "...Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood." Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. Acts 20:28 declares that God purchased the church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

Because Jesus was sent from heaven to become a flesh and blood man, as the Word of God, to replace the failure of the first earthly created man, because that is the will of God, Jehovah sent his first and only angelic creation Jesus, who is the only legal son of the Sovereign of the Universe Almighty God Jehovah. The prince of heaven, named Michael is his heavenly name, which means, who is like God. Colossians 1:15-20

No where does the Bible teach God came to earth as a man, and no where does God's word teach a Trinity, those are false doctrines.
Reread those Scriptures you quoted and slowly.

I should have said, please reread those Scriptures from the old King James Bible, or a Revised Standard or some older translation.

The Bibles today are printed by Companies that are paid by Church leaders that teach false doctrines, and Scriptures are twisted to meet their teachings.

Jesus was begotten not Created. When God entered His Creation, He was fully man yet still fully divine. Only God is Sinless and Eternal and that applies to Jesus. Flesh (man ) must bow to Spirit (God) and Jesus the man did so. The man prayed to his Father. God was in Heaven and on Earth at the same time as God can be everywhere at the same time.
As l said previously, you are allowed to believe that Jesus was just the Son of God. We do have a point of difference. My Bible shows me the spiritual truth so my spiritual eyesight is great. Yes, the Bible does teach that the Word of God was made flesh entered His Creation. The Bible does teach that God's Word is Eternal and the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Eternal Word of God. Therefore, Jesus is God. I showed you the scriptures.

As you know, that God presents as Father and Son and Holy Spirit. I have never approved of the word trinity as a description or God in 3 persons. But it is not blasphemous and it does not claim that God is 3 persons. It is but a description of the way God presents himself. It was theologians getting too cerebral instead of spiritual.

God's authority is over you and you must stop these slanderous accusations against people who are Christians. If you say that Christians have imposed false doctrines then you accuse them of Blasphemy as that would be blasphemous and apostasy. The Trinity is just a description of how God presents.

God's authority is with me and l am approved to instruct you.

New Living Translation
But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said, "The Lord rebuke you!" (This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses' body.)
English Standard Version
But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“The Lord rebuke you.”

ALSO, Jesus is not Arch Angel Michael;

(Heb 1:4-7) Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. 7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
(Heb 1:13) But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
(Heb 2:5-9) For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. 6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him.

I do compare them. I always believed that l was talking to God The "I Am" directly and refused to pray through Jesus, but l believed that Jesus was God's Son. I directed my prayers for many years to God alone, but something happened that caused me to review my conduct and it was not taught to me by men or their interpretation of the Bible. It was taught to me by God Himself and it was a revelation. I know for a fact that Jesus is God!

Also, from Old King James version;

Colossians 2:9 - For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

2 Corinthians 4:4 - In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

John 1:3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus Christ Almighty, we're being smothered by a blanket of sanctimoniousness. Let us up, for Christ's sake. It's hard to taunt you cretin religionists when you try to bury us in your inane, fatuous personal khristian odysseys and your tiresome, eye-rollingly over-trodden quotations from scripture. You should listen to yourselves. A little dose of listening would rip tens of thousands of you out of delusional thinking and back into a real world of very difficult moral decisions and ask you to live with your knickers in a continual twist dealing with the vertigo-inducing ambivalences of non delusional everyday life. It's impossible to take a stance here -- puke or laugh. Your irrelevance is akin to diapering a corpse -- please feel free to minister to the needs of the dead. There remains a world to live in, here and now, that requires food, water, medicine, gender equality, humility, honesty, secular rule of law, and so much more that has zip to do with hocus pocus from the preposterous, plagiarized, and brutal Old Testament and the equally archaic heavy-browed pap of the New Testament. Oh heavens, I must stop now before

Madam you have erred by coming to a Religious forum where you as an Atheist have seen much to distress you. Madam you are in need of being saved in haste because death is within you and devouring you. You are a corpse in decomposition.

As for the World you dwell in it is but a delusion and any day now God can roll up its space and cover the sun. The World is not as you perceive but designed by God and tainted by Satan. You sound as if you live in 2 dimensions but most people are aware of living in 4 dimensions but l am aware of living in numerous dimensions.

Sanctimonious is not a description of me but you use a satanic word to mock. For you God will give you what you deserve and what will not disappoint you, at the end, you shall be a feast for worms and put to good use that way, instead you could have been at the Feast of the Lord but woe to you!

Oh, by the way, you're right about the archangel Michael. He is definitely NOT Jesus. He's Lassie. And one last correction from Satan: this is not a religious forum, it's an archaeology forum. You bizarre religionists pop up here -- mistakenly -- all the time. Are you automatically forwarded from the bonehead forum? It's quite clear that the Topix moderator is always hanging out in the break room with the pretty (except for the snaggle-tooth) Topix secretary and not paying any attention to his job. He ought to be forwarding all this cracked religious chat to the malarkey forum or better yet the rectal forum so those of us who are interested in archaeology don't have to put up with it. Um, woe to you.
