If the moderator of Topix Archaeology would please get off his ass and get rid of Israeli screeds like "The irrationality of it" we'd all be the happier. The article has a few references to "archaeologist" and "archaeology," but no actual content pertaining to archaeology. It's an article that preaches to a zionist choir, so to speak, and it has no relevance whatsoever to Topix Archaeology. Now, the moderator may be Jewish and includes crap like this (all too frequently) because this is his or her bully pulpit. If that's true, then the moderator ought to get the axe -- putting religious/political ideology into an archaeology forum (unless it is, in fact, historical) is insidious, Orwellian, hugely creepy, and it irritates archaeology consumers like me who look at Israelis as very scarey oppressors and chronic disrupters of peace in the middle east and disgusting owners of so many American congressmen and senators. All this has nothing to do with archaeology. Even the heavy-handed propaganda of Israeli archaeology -- using archaeological finds to "prove" a Zionist claim to Palestine -- ought to be forbidden in this forum. That sort of stuff cheapens and debases the standards this forum ought to adhere to. And I'm sure all the level-headed readers of this forum would agree.(Angry, knee-jerk, doctrinaire Zionists are politely asked not to screed me to death in this forum. I am advocating intellectual honesty and clarity as opposed to propaganda. Surely even they can see the difference.) So, let's all go out and kick some dogs and yell at octogenarians and just have a good old fashioned Christmas romp! What?

You cretinish thug. You have the nerve to call me a "nazi"? The State of Israel, a gift from the Allies after WWII, not a gift from some man-eating Bronze Age deity, has been polluting the air of the mideast with its heinous treatment of the native Palestinians since Begin began his cowardly assassinations. And what has Israel done to promote peace in the mideast? Having survived the nightmare of the Holocaust, one would think the Jews of the world would have nothing but compassion and generosity for the oppressed. Anyway, my point was that Israeli propaganda has no place in Topix Archaeology and that the moderator should edit it out. When you have the time, back off from the savage propaganda machine of Israel and look at how Israel has marginalized and criminalized and oppressed a population uprooted from its home. Calling someone a nazi does not change those facts and it doesn't make the world any better.

Back off? Ok. You're not a nazi. Your grandparents obviously were, Raghead. Now, you're just an embarrassment to the state of CT. Do you attend the same Mosque as Syrian? Do you two turds share the same prayer rug? Your Ip's are very close. I hope that Homeland Security has a lock on you and that sh!t eating traitor. That kind of venom has to have its roots in radical Islam.

A gift? A gift that Jews paid for with their own money? A gift transformed from stinking swamp and desert by Jewish toil and sweat? A gift Jews defend with their lives everyday? A gift no one on this planet was interested in the slightest until they found out Jews wanted it?

Some gift. May G-d give you such a gift every day. And may you never be able to return it.

Calling Israel a 'gift from the Allies' would be hilarious if I didn't think you actually believed it.
