Well put...and thanks for the info about allocated monies for this sort of stuff. Most find my cultural beliefs odd in todays world...my grandparents and great-grandparents lived with an indian tribe so I think its worth while as I believe as they did years ago. Police should investigate Josh's murder...and historians the skull...indians were here before taxes and the culture had it all over ours...they did not murder one another just for kicks and only took enough from the land and wild life to survive.

I agree that this should be investigated by historians. My husbands family lived in this home untill the late 1960's. We are all curious to find out more info...

If you do a search with the words "Katrina foreign help," that's all it takes.
Italy, Greece, Britain, Canada, Israel, offered and or sent aid, among many others. Our government told most of the countries "thanks for the offer, we'll keep it in mind." And never followed up.
Much of what did get through either spoiled, was damaged beyond repair or thrown away Think about the TONS of British MREs (called something else) that were burned at the behest of the FDA! The brainiacs at the FDA said they were "unfit for human consumption."

i would like to say this one thing,
okay, yes...there are some seriously ungrateful countries out there--the US of A has played such a huge part in so many lives, we don't get the credit, we don't even know about it here in our own country- because that's not a sexy thing to see in the news--who wants to see bag of rice with an american flag on it? it doesn't sell the papers... an american made bullet will make the news first-
okay, on the homefront, things are perfect, it never will be, and there are some serious shortfalls by our government. Our government has put out there resources to help mitigate the problem, they aren't cures-they aren't designed to be. but just because we have our own problems, doesn't mean we should forget about those even less fortunate

we (the citizens) have control of everything, we just don't realize it, WE as a nation put our poli-chickens in office, we know they're corrupt, but yet, we put in the same type of person in office each time--it's a hard system to overcome, but we can't seem to agree on anything anymore! we made it so a better canidate might not be able to run for the simple fact that he doesn't have enough money to buy a spot on the t.v. have you looked into what it takes to run for a serious office? it takes cash, and lots of it, we should be standing up on capitol hill yelling as loud as possible saying we're the boss...and you're fired!
