So from what I gather is the Police are going to launch an investigation on something that happened 350 years ago and waste tax payer money.

I wonder if they'll make some one pay retributions and have afirmative action as well.

An investigation?! I hope they're joking, that would be a waste of the tax payers money. Who could they possibly arrest after all these years?

Quit wasting the taxpayers money on a 350 yr old case- we have local people
who have been missing and not found or found deceased. Spend the time, resources and money on those cases, not one from 3 centuries ago!

Use common sense people, it doens't matter how old a crime is. Any unsolved crime no matter how long ago it happened needs to be investigated.

If I moved into a house and found a skull, I would want to know everything about it, don't you?

They're doing a good thing to investigate it. I find this story pretty interesting.

Don't get me wrong, I find it interesting too. Apparently the police weren't too interested back in 1971 when it was discovered the first time.

From a historical point of view I think it should be investigated, not by police mind you but historians. There's probably more burried in and around that area. It probably didn't take much to get scalped back then.

I dont care who investigates it...I am curious to see how this plays out. Supposidly the house sits on an Indian Burial ground. I have many Native American beliefs myself so I think it should be checked out. I do not think any soil should be unturned there though...let it be.

How about cultural or historical significance? Besides taxpayer money is already allocated for historical research so it would not be a waste to the individual taxpayer.

Maybe there should be more complaints about political corruption/graft than something that could have historical significance.

THAT IS SO INTENSE. BUT NOT AS INTENSE AS 22,464 PEOPLE PERISHING IN A HORRIBLE STROM OFF ASIA, MYANMAR.**CITIZENS OF AMERICA, PUSH TO SEND HELP!!**. THIS SORT OF SITUATION/*NOW* IS THE TIME TO STICK OUR NOSES INTO ANOTHER COUNTRY. THIS IS A WORLD DISASTER, NOT JUST ASIAS. THE VERY ATMOSPHERE THAT WERE TEARING APART(BY BEING WASTEFUL, OUR EPA MAKING THE LAWS WE DONT OBIDE AS AMERICANS) DID THIS.. WE NEED TO HELP :IT IS OUR OBLIGATION TO HUMANITY. CONSIDER THIS DISASTER SIZE IN SCALE AS YOUR OWN, ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO DO TO HELP THESE VICTIMS OF MOTHER NATURE

Instead of helping other countries why don't we start helping our own. Granted, there are a lot of horrible things that happen to other countries and their people, but when something bad happens to our country, no one is knocking down our door to offer help!
