Nov 29, 2012 Full story: Free Republic

Many New England communities have within them dirt-covered stone 'mounds,' dug into the earth and meticulously lined and covered with stones; some of the stones that cover the tops weigh tons.

About 6 years back I run across a rather large stone Carrin on a hill above the town of resolute bay in the high arctic. Over 6 feet high and 12 foot in diamoter . When I asks the locals what the story was and who buit it no one new??? I spent over 2 months there. Go figure some where I have a photo of it. My gut feeling now is it was of ancient times . I have not found anything pertaining to it on line??? Perhaps you could let Jim know about this find.

You sound like you huff glue. Or huff paint. Or maybe you are just a congenital idiot. Hey, it happens. Do you think you are the first person to notice this cairn? I think the people you asked just wanted to get rid of you. I know I would. Sometimes a cairn is just a cairn, made by wee fairies. Wee fairies in mukluks. Maybe you should check that out.

Who do you think you are, arf the dog, making fun of this guy? He's just a guy. Just a guy tryin' his best to get buy. If he thinks the wee fairies built the cairn out of stones that weigh thousands of times more than their sylph-like bodies with their perfect tiny breasts and soft, soft fairy pubic hair and their reputations for falling for us 'cause we're giants to them, well, let him be. He could be right. And he could be in jail.

Which Jim? That enormously overweight guy that yabber yabbers on and like sucks all the oxygen out of the room? Or the Jim that hums while he planes then sands that piece of wood that he wants to be so smooth and perfect and there's almost nothing left? Or Jim the poor simpleton who gets caught up entirely by mistake in a money-laundering scheme starring Jamie Dimond and Steve Buscemi? Or Jim Jim the tout who gave bad info to Vincent "semi-dick" Gargielolo about the 3rd race at Belmont and had his balls stuffed down his throat and was found floating in Beneduce Farfelli's basement in Howard Beach after superstorm Sandy? Howard Beach is on the A train. Don't take the A train.
