Obama Flunks Archaeology 101 in Vegas
"Unless you were one of the first Americans, a Native American, you came from someplace else, somebody brought you," President Barack Obama told the assembled throngs in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Mr. Obama was actually making a point, based on information he received from others. Mr. Cashill disregards the point and attacks the premise, also based on information received from others. Seeing as how real scientists are not in agreement regarding the premises, perhaps we should allow that Mr. Cashill is merely flaunting his intellectual ego and return our focus to Mr. Obama's point.

I see Obama's education is lacking in areas other than the Constitution.
Everyone in North and South America are Immigrants.

Sure, Dirk: When I was studying anthropology, everybody knew that the First Americans arrived via the Siberian land bridge, about 11,500 years ago. Then they began finding sites dating back 35K years in South America. Then evidence of Mediterranean mDNA, indicating some crossed the Atlantic as well, just as the Tlingit have claimed for years. Then, of course, recent discoveries about immigration from Polynesia and Scandinavia as well. So, evidently the evidence is NOT all in, despite popular belief.
But, yes: Everybody's an immigrant. Nonetheless, if Teutonic tribes have lived in Germany long enough to be called Native Germans, and if the Aboriginals get to be called Indigenous Australians, I'm pretty sure that people settling the Americas 11,000 - 30,000 years before Columbus - Before America was a country with borders - qualifies them to NOT be called immigrants in the same sense as the Johnny-come-lately Europeans.
You and Cashill can nit pick all you want, but they're still nits. And, Lord knows, Trolls have plenty of nits.
