Could their be relief at the pump soon?

Sep 23, 2012 | Posted by: Marie Callender | Full story: www.wvnstv.com

Gas prices are finally heading lower, but motorists shouldn't expect the numbers at the pump to drop quickly this autumn, that's according to triple A.

Ok..., this is a story right off the news website and it's obvious they do not proof-read anything.

This should read:'Could there be relief at the pump soon?'

Oil has dropped to around 89 a barrel today. Last week due to another of the Government's stimulus plans and printing more money it jumped to a 100 a barrel. The price of gas goes up as soon as oil goes up , once oil goes down it takes weeks to go back down. At 89 a barell we should be paying around 3.35 a gallon. It sucks, thats all I can say about it. It just totally fricking SUCKS!!!Two reasons the price of oil is going down is speculators sold off their stocks yesterday when they got smart enough to recognize the stimulus wouldn't help the economy and more refineries are on line after the hurricane.

Price of oil is dropping today, Gas should already be around 40 cents lower than it is right now. It will drop some,2 or 3 cents a gallon at a time the next few weeks probably. After all , it is election time, it always goes down during the elections. Still sucks, no reason for gas to cost this much.

I looked at prices around Bluefield this morning, 50 cents a gallon cheaper. Usually not that big a difference.

Just think of people on heating oil for the winter, I switched to all electric a few years ago. I couldn't afford a 100 gallon delivery so I was taking 5 gallon jugs and buying what I could. Worked, but what a pain that winter was doing that.
