"Congressman Bob Goodlatte, who is vice-chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, blames the expiration mostly on disagreements over funding for nutritional programs."

GOP dominated House can't even pass their own bill reinforcing their do-nothing agenda. Senate passed theirs.

Democrats buy farm votes by constructing a false economy, where farmers have absolutely no accountability for the false loans and grants they get. The city Democrats have no idea whatsoever how pernicious and dishonest the farm subsidies are, where farmers get money for making walking paths accessible to no one... where farmers can claim huge amounts of money and literally make up inflated cost sheets that have no relation to anyone doing any work, machinery that doesn't even exist. Democrats have fostered dishonesty as second nature to farmers, just as they've given loans, then forgiven them, to so-called students scamming the system for tens of thousands of dollars. An America infested with dishonesty is why she kills her children.

SO, we see - in real life, in actual legislative effort - without their stupid fantasies - just how much the Republicans support their rural Virginia constituents!?... In realiy, NOT at ALL!

Republicans are friendly to rural Virginians' long term issues like Paris Hilton is chaste!

Republicans are supportive of middle income Virginians like Arnold Swartzenegger was faithful to his wife!

Republicans are working hard to pass non-partisan legislation that helps solve problems like molasses pours in freezing weather.

etc.

I live on a farm. Low cost loans, OK. Grants to achieve clean water and land, OK. Price supports, NO. Americans need to start paying the REAL price when they go to the grocery store.

Maybe if we didn't import so much produce and meat from 3rd world nations to bolster their economies, we wouldn't need to support our farmers this way...being paid to NOT harvest is not good policy.

Farmers exist in a world of subsidies, tax exemptions and credits. Just not really concerned about farmers.

Hmmm, a general bill concerning welfare didn't get passed. Looks like republicans are starting up the NO campaign again. Ask yourself why general kadafi is more popular than our congress?

Failed farm bill is the perfect way to describe it. Socialism in action, just like Obamacare.
