<quoted text>Now, back to you. Again, I said exactly what I meant and no reinterpretation about what I said or meant is required. Take it or leave it. I couldn't care less. As to voting for Barack Obama over Mitt Flip-flopping No Math Skills Romney? You are most welcome. It's a pity you don't yet realize that you should be kissing us on both cheeks, but that would require a brain cell or two to be fired. That seems to be lacking in your case.
okay, then YOU are saying YOU fear a further rise and domination of a PLUTOCRACY, A SPECIFIC FORM OF OLIGARCHY.

well, oh-so-intelligent-One, why didn't/can't YOU just say so?

You're stupid, and I expected no more of you than to prove yourself incapable of reading exactly how you and the rest of us are being screwed by corporatists. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. It's right here in black and white. Can you add and subtract? Every man, woman and child in America was indebted to make whole again the very institutions whose failures should have let them sustain the failure. Instead, we failed our own to make the rich failures rich again and to be repaid with many of them moving their money away from this economy and stimulating growth here onshore to put our own back to WORK for a living. They deprived us of jobs and tax contributions as well.

This, of course, just wafts through the cottage cheese of your mind, and you instead concentrate on how to call me a libtard or a progressive or whatever else label you can assign. I pity you your lack of consciousness.

I fear that plutocratic rule, under which we are already operating will result in Oligarchy. I'm not worried about Socialism. I'll leave that to you to concern yourself about. I'm worried about the demise of the middle class and the dearth of opportunity to move from one class to another through one's own efforts. I worry about a society where your birth status defines you for life. Call that whatever you want to call it, but I don't see a place where your birth station defines you for life as being America, at least the one in which I grew up or expected would be there for my children and theirs.

To his credit, this President has articulated what nobody wanted to say about it and made preserving a middle class his mission this term. I have no doubt that this perspective is what cost him the financial support of so many corporate donors this time. Can he overcome the pressure and the influential power brokers that dominate our Congress and our legislation? I don't know. I wish him well.

Media blackout: Oregon mall shooter was stopped by an armed citizen

**********

The shooter, Jacob Tyler Roberts, was confronted with an armed citizen, at which time he ran away and shot himself. By the time police arrived on the scene, Roberts was already dead.

That armed man was 22-year-old Nick Meli, who was at the mall shopping with a young woman who was babysitting her friend's baby.

Not only has the national media refused to acknowledge this aspect of the deadly event, but law enforcement has as well.

Clackamas County Sheriff Craig Roberts held a press conference in which he credited local police officers and deputies with ending the rampage, never mentioning Meli's actions.

Sheriff Roberts said: "I'm really proud of all the different agencies that came together to really step up and put their lives on the line," to "basically hunt down this guy in the mall."

Now, remember, the shooter was already dead when police arrived on the scene.

Of course, the Obamamedia is in full support of even harsher gun control laws and it should come as no surprise that they would suppress any story which provides proof that lawfully armed citizens do prevent crimes and save lives.

<quoted text>You want to read profane? Here's some profanity:
4. Brian T. Moynihan, Bank of America
After a decade of risky and reckless mortgage lending, Bank of America survived the 2008 financial crash with the help of a $45 billion bailout. Today, Bank of America sits on $128 billion in cash —$18 billion of it is overseas —and much of that is sitting in the company’s 115 tax haven subsidiaries .
Last year, after investors saw their stock price decline 58 percent and 30,000 Bank of America employees lost their jobs to layoffs, CEO Brian Moynihan saw his compensation quadruple to more than $8 million. His predecessor, Ken Lewis, raked in more than $50 million in the two years before the housing bubble that Bank of America had help inflate burst in 2008.
..........
So, if I have this right, every man woman and child in America agreed to chip in for their share of $45 BILLION to help 'em out and to make sure Mr. Moynihan's compensation tripled after they had screwed us over, and they then further repaid the favor by parking $18 BILLION offshore in a tax haven! Very cute and clever, Mr. Moynihan, you friggin' creep.
Please note: I didn't say Bush at all until right now.

What was your point? Your point seemed to be that Obama enjoys "lavish" vacations at taxpayer expense while his predecessor spent his vacations at "the ranch". Did I miss something? George LOVED the ranch. Mommy and Daddy were close bye, and where on planet earth could George Bush have been as comfortable in his skin as he is in Texas? Did he do much golfing, or did he stumble too much for that game? What's George's hobby or sport? His hobbies/sports were 1)fishing (not exactly an athletic sport) and 2)tending his ranch. It's hard to compare the two men or their vacation preferences. Now, if I missed it, what was it?

Democrats Seek to Legalizing Criminals

The White House has leaked immigration legislation it’s preparing in case Congress fails to craft its own. According to USA Today, 11 million illegal aliens could apply for a “Lawful Prospective Immigrant” visa and after 8 years could get a green card.

Criminals would be excluded––unless they served less than a year for their crime, or were convicted of 3 different crimes resulting in 90 days in jail.

That will hearten the hit-and-run drivers and welfare cheats. Once they get a visa, their families will be in line for visas too. In other words, the president’s plan amounts to an amnesty that vaults lawbreakers, including some convicts, to the head of the immigration line.

Lately, Bush has been riding scores of miles on a secluded spread on Beltsville and on the rolling hills of Quantico, Virginia, far from the White House whirl.

"He's become a biking maniac," said Mark McKinnon, his media advisor and frequent cycling companion.

What originally began as a way for the president to stay fit, after three decades of running had wrecked his knees, has now become his passion. Besides the calories burnt at a 1,000-per-hour clip, cycling gives Bush an emotional rush that often surpasses that of the one he would get from running.

http://www.sharetrails.org/node/8016
----------

Next week in Texas former President George W. Bush will host a 100 kilometer bike ride with 14 U.S. servicemen and women who were seriously wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dubbed the “Warrior 100K,” the race will take place in Big Bend, TX from April 25-27.

“I’ll be riding across the deserts of Texas with wounded warriors to show the unbelievable character of our men and women in uniform,” President Bush said in a statement.“It’s a 100-kilometer ride in the desert, and it’s not a leisurely ride; it’s a ride to herald people who were dealt a severe blow and said,‘I’m not going to let it tear me down.’”

Bush is an avid mountain bike rider who put his Secret Service detail through some grueling workouts during his White House years and rode on his Texas ranch with cycling star Lance Armstrong. The former president took up mountain biking after running proved to be too tough on his knees.

Not more than a few to reach the wrong conclusion - again.

How many times must I tell you that I agree we must cut spending, but I also believe we must have revenue increases that aren't simply passed along to the struggling middle-class at the STATE and LOCAL levels - which will automatically happen when Federal cuts result in shortfalls to vital services at the state level. Again, it's a matter of priorities and human costs. We can't keep paying corporate welfare to the degree and extent we do now without a huge cost to society if cuts come directly from education and social programs and exclude the wealthiest among us from the formula.
