Genetics determine if you are heterosexual or homosexual, but being born straight or gay does not necessarily determine behavior. Same sex activity is a choice.

How is that even remotely true when some are BORN with no appetite, or desire to be with a woman? BS

Horse manure.

If we were born a sexual orientation we would all be autosexual.

Genetics determine little in the face of the environment.

It's obvious you've never spoken to people such as Little Richard whom has stated himself as such and I know of a few men and women that have never had any desire to be with a woman, nor a woman having a desire to be with a man. All their lives they've felt this way, so I'd say that you both know nothing about how fluid the human mind is, and how people really feel, but will not usually say how they feel due to rejection.
It's obvious you need more studies on the subject at hand and I have done so without yours or his input.
Have a great week.

I find the whole it's a choice thing kinda funny really, I wish it was for me. I honestly believe some men do chose to live that sort of lifestyle, but at the same time I feel others are just that way.
For me it's just how it is sadly. I don't want to be this way but somehow I always get back to it. Nothing against homosexuals I don't hate then I think they're just fine it's just I don't want to be one. If it was just a simple choice I really wouldn't be in this delemia of things. I've tried to get help on such a thing but people just don't seem to believe it, saying if I don't want to be it then don't. I'm only 16 and I struggle with this pretty much everyday. Never came out of the closet and probably never will. When one of my friends say "damn she got a nice ass" of course I just agree. I don't wanna be outcasted for how I am. xD wish I wasn't like this

Yes, they're called "bisexuals".

But even THEY didn't choose to be bisexual in their orientation.

(also, "lifestyle" is a misnomer)

No he is not trying to say that. It has been a few months since I read the book so my memory of the details is fading (although I still have it right next to me in a drawer), he is NOT saying homosexuality is caused by a lack of masculinity. What he is saying is that effeminancy is too deeply engrained in the homosexual subculture. He doesn't feel ALL gay men are alike. He believes masculine gay men and effeminate gay men have distinct differences...
Josh - just get the book already.
Just coming back to this thread after a very long time and I have to say, gay men dividing each other into sub-cultures is something I am totally against. I don't care if someone is masculine or feminine, we are all in the same boat together!
