Hell's Bell's, China NEEDS to shed MILLIONS of people, they are waaaaaaaay to over populated and eating up the worlds resources, food, oil etc.
I want to see numbers in the million's, not just paltry 1000's for crying out loud!
Hopefully they'll have another HUGE quake in the coming days to take A LOT more world resource hogs and have the summer games moved elsewhere, Chinks are eeeeeevil communist and deserve what they get, hell they would take over the world if they thought they could and I think that's why they are building their population to number in the billions. Evil, smelly, slit eyed vermin, mother nature is helping to keep you in line...
Well, SF and half of California is on a major fault line. Wonder how would you feel when the big one hits which is predicted within next 10 yrs. Think before you talk.

I don't care about an earthquake in an overpopulated country; especially China. Too bad for them. Glad I don't live there.

If you haven’t already noticed, this world is waaaay bigger than the tiny speck of Scott living in Howell, Mi. I challenge you and everyone else who has your same thought process to step out of your bubble and join the global population- not just the tiny cities you live in. Have some compassion for your fellow human being. If you’re of Christian faith, have some compassion for your brother or sister who is scared and screaming for help under a heavy pile of rubble somewhere in China.

Chengdu seems fine. I have contacted one of my friends there, she said nobody died as far as she knows. However, most people are scared to live in any building, rather, they live out side where they feel safer.

I guess your friends should be fine.

What I am worrying is the people who are living in the mountains - you know how big the mountains are. According to the news and posts from internet, there are still some areas that the rescue crews are still not able to get in. The army has send aroplanes and chopers to mobilize the army crews to get in the mountains. Seems quite difficult. The latest news says that 1300 soldiers have reached one of the towns in the earth quake center and started rescue. That makes me feel better.

The CCP has used the disaster as an opportunity to do its propaganda "stunt",so to get the chinese people to support the CCP.

But the CCP do not really care for the chinese people.

It is right to pity for the victims of the disaster.

But we do not live in a fairytale where world governments really care for the people.

World governments only are "generous" for 3 reasons:

1.Strategical reasons.

2.Com promises.

3.For a good image,to get people to follow them.

I only trust generosity from the PEOPLE.

I do NOT trust "generosity" from governments.Gov ernments are only "generous" for strategical, compromising and image reasons.
