Growing acidity in Pacific Ocean could be killing sea life

I have been traveling and I watch thousands of people daily not giving one hoot about the environment. It all boils down to one thing--excuses, excuses m, excuses. They couldnt care less because they were born and its their perrogative to not care about anything. And the number opf children they keep producing at the same time all of this is going down is irresponsible and oppressive. Just look at the Gulf of mexico. Ultimately this is caused by an excessive number of irrresponsible people continuing their idiotic ways on a daily basis.

The planet is and will continue to respond to what we've done to it, and it ain't gonna be pretty. Wait for the big cull-off--billions are going to die. Glad I won't have to see the worst of it. But the aftermath should change humans into a more humbler species--something I would like to see.

Interesting that everyone seems to leave out the Real poison causes and emmission culprits, which are: nitrous oxide or Nox, sulfur dioxide or Sox, and Mercury.

Granted much of the "offset" technology ( if ever really used ) which sequesters Carbon can also when properly applied sequester tons of the high dollar more poisonous gases too.

Fact is, if the EPA had ever really applied the clean air rules to the USA power plants none of this would even be an issue today.

Thank you for a definitive piece of writing.
This must be one of the missing links to the die offs of oysters. Is this also what is happening- acidification of the ocean - to the dying coral reefs? This is getting closer and closer to real data proving the problem. By the time we figure it all out, will the orcas have enough salmon left to eat?

The acidity of the ocean is undoubtably due to the presence of the smelly armpits of tourists swimming and surfing in it.

If they were responsible adults they would be home producing children instead of having a good time.

On a serious note, there is an island of trash twice the size of Texas floating on the Pacific north of here.
