What they say they are going to be charging for the stink bug spray is crazy, they are just trying to take advantage of people! You can use Windex w/vinegar or Lysol sray cleaner with lemon and it suffocates them too, so why pay $17-19.00 dollars, when you can find even other organic cleaners for around $5-6.00 a bottle if you don't want Windex or Lysol. The economy is too bad to be paying a price like that!

Windex and Lysol aren't exactly organic, although I'll agree with you people are no smarter than the stink bugs paying this much. The oil (found elsewhere for less) is what kills them, although I doubt they get a 'heart attack'.

haha, the news report says it gives the stink bugs a heart attack and THEN suffocates them with the oil! (to make sure they're dead I guess) Snake oil would probably work too.

Recently I purchased this product and it has yet to kill a stink bug. However, it does leave an oily film on everything.

I paid it and it cleared out my office, which was totally infested, in just a few minutes. Of course, my colleague in the next office says it smells like Icy Hot and I think it smells like cheap Christmas potpourri, but it works.
I used to hate this time of year because those things would be all over my office...on my phone, my keyboard, dropping from above, etc.
A friend paid Interstate Pest Control $400 to get rid of them and they were back in a week. I've probably used 30 spritzes of the $18 bottle I bought at Whole Foods about three weeks ago and the bugs still haven't come back.

I already have an "organic option" for killing stink bugs--chickens. My 25 chickens love stink bugs and they fight over them in the garden and yard, so very few get into the house. The few that do just get drowned and fed to the chickens with their veggie scraps. Good protein for the chickens and I get eggs back in thanks. Win/win

My fix is a jar with a screw on lid, a little squirt of dish detergent and about 1/4 water. Hold it next to the bug they drop in and BINGO they die. Doesn't work with just plain water.

Stink Bugs are like all God's creatures and should be treasured and loved, not killed. I can't believe all the heartless souls on this forum. Would you kill your grandmother just because you did not want her around? Well the same goes for stink bugs. As a liberal, progressive, society we must embrace all of our inhabitants. So love thy neighbor including the stink bug. God loves everyone. Except republicans and tea baggers. You can all burn in H ell. And you heartless redneck hunters too! Peace and hugs......
