So,you think that bothers me--not at all. Okay salvation man, you fix the black problems-- not me.
Why does it always take whites and white money to fix self inflicted black problems?

You are either part of the problem or part of the solution.
I am most certainly not part of the problem as I am an employer. I employ 11 people, a taxpayer. I wish government would realise that the very people they want to leave SA, are the people who's taxes enables a better life for them and others.
And I am a law abiding citizen, in other words I don't rape/murder/rob people.
So I am obviously part of the solution. Fact is that SA is an embattled country. Pointing out that there are MAJOR problems does not make me part of the problem. I'm merely observing.
I am in effect doing my BIT by being a model citizen. If every person did their part like I do, then we'd have a first world country.
Now we all know (reading papers etc.) that every citizen in SA isn't doing their BIT to be model citizens.
Currently I'm giving government a couple of million Rands a year in the form of taxation and hoping that they'll use this money wisely.
That is already a sizeable contribution. If that does not allow me the democratic right to point out faults, you obviously don't grasp the concept of a democracy. I am paying for my right to have an opinion.
If you want me to do more, then allow me to appoint someone else to apply my taxation money.
Someone else that will be able to apply the money more effectively, as the current leaders are frivolously wasting it on planes and other crap like the military upgrades and other programs that makes it possible for them to siphen off a million here and a million there.
But the fact is, is that people like myself are PAYING for a service. That service should be provided by the government and includes the right to life, as given in our constitution. In other words we have a right in life, to bring up your children..........but are we able to do this..........NO, because tax payers are being slaughtered left right and centre and the government does not give a shit.
The reason is simple.
The government is part of the problem.
Very good and very true. I have been part of the solution for many years but the problems are overwhelming the solutions and the problems take no part in correcting the problems.

The government is part of the problem.
To the extent that all taxpaying citizens in all countries all restricted in their ability to specifically direct that revenue, SA is no different and you are no different than any others. Beyond all this, I did not say that you are a part of the problem. I don't know you personally and so my comments were general. I don't know enough about SA's internal issues in detail to get into a detailed discussion about it with you. It is interesting, though, to learn from you and hear your viewpoints about it.

You make an excellent point. But the next question is "What is the solution?"
Outside of genocide, sterilization or murder.....
Very tough issues, indeed.

Tough issues require aggressive solutions. Mass sterilization in many African countries is the only viable solution.

This reminds me of Timothy Mcveigh's reply when asked how he felt about killing all of those innocents in the Oklahoma City bombing; they were just peripheral damage.

Here my peanut and it's aimed right at you.
You say:"People who judge others for their origins, skin color, residence, etc. and/or make broad generalizations based on these kinds of criteria are part of the problem, not the solution."
Might I add, blah, blah bloody dah.
Nobody is judging others based on race. We are judging the acts of others that constitute crime and noticing that crime seems to be inherent to a specific race.
Pointing out this fact, invariably leads to the race card being played by the very same race who is responsible for the crime. Sad isn't it???
Big difference.
Now where is my peanuts.
Since my remarks were not addressed to you, I wonder why you took them so personally. Certainly it sounds like you are living in a very difficult situation and doing your best.

In fact, it appears that many whites are being made the victims of racism and abuse in your area.

I'm not a fool. I know that if you wear the wrong color in the wrong part of some cities here in the states that you may be shot. I grew up in an area of gangs and crime. I've been attacked and threatened with death. I have fought back.

Maybe I'm an idealist, but refusing to look at people as individuals and judging groups of people according to arbitrary criteria is still something I believe to be unhelpful in the extreme.

Case in point, today the obese were blamed for the world food crisis and increased climate change:

If you think that "Nobody is judging others based on race" on this forum, I suggest you reread the posts, since there are comments like,“Stupid fecker, i laughed at any blacks who is trying to migrate to planet mars ...”,“Finding intellegent life in Africa professor Hawking; you will have more luck trying to find a polar bear (more intelligent too)…” and “I used to have respect for him as a physicist, However sadly now, He embarks on a journey to spook land to find Darwin's missing link.”

Have you noticed that all the posters saying negative and racial things have not replied to the intelligent posts? They don't understand them and therefore can't respond unless it's with negative, stupid remarks.... ignorant and full of fear. If their so sure about what they post, why bother posting? Sad/silly people.

Wrong. The trains always ran on time in Hitler Germany. Josef Mengele was a devoted scientist looking for answers. Stalin's re-arrangement of human populations was designed and implemented to improve the common good. Peripheral damage comes in many flavors - all bitter, though.

Mr. Hawkings will get over your disappointment, as if it mattered to people of his intelligence. They never pay people with your bent any attention.

I don't believe the atrocities committed by Hitler, Mengele and Stalin were meant to save lives.
