Galoot: You won me over. A valid argument well posed. True, I am not from upstate and cannot judge your candidates. But I'll pass one on to you: Kathleen Rice for State Attorney General. She's the odds-on best choice for the most important position in the whole state, except MAYBE governor. That's how much my fellow Long Islanders and I think of her. Good luck in getting the right people in during your elections tomorrow!

All of this spamming by the Rice campaign is as sleezy as a Republican operation. I had considered voting for her. I will go out of my way to vote for another candidate, and alert my friends and family about her sleezy campaign. Apparently she picked up something from her republican family. Stay where you belong Kathleen.

Do not vote in the primary elections; the candidates are all cookie cutter images lacking substance--all just rubber stamps deemed safe and trustworthy by those pulling the strings behind the scenes. If you wish to make your vote count in November 2010, bring a pencil and pen to the polling place in order to fill write in names for elective offices up for grabs. Get real imaginative with local peoples names; as long as they are alive, you can vote for them; and, as long as you "understand" that they are registered to vote. Your write in vote is as valid as if you voted for one of the cookie cutter emplacements.

While the Democrats are no great shakes I would NEVER vote for another Republican again after what Bush & Company did to our country. Two wars one which was based on lies and both of which are bankrupting our country, bailing out banks who were allowed to be too big to fail, Enron, tax breaks for the rich, looking the other way while illegals walked across our borders etc.. NO Way!

I agree. I would NEVER vote for a SPAMMER. Kathleen Rice is a spammer and thus has already FAILED the ethics test by SPAMMING.

Kathlenn Rice will be presedent someday!

She's a cop hater but will be a great DA.

We need a DA who will crack down on these rogue COPS who break the law, like Kathleen Rice.

These NYPD cops do wrong and get a slap on the wrist and are on the job after a 2 week suspension.

Lets hope she cracks down on teachers union!

LOL. Rice can't even crack down on her operatives who are spamming these forums. She clearly has no concern for law and order. She seems to think she is above the law. Rice would make a HORRIBLE DA.

The election tomorrow is the PRIMARY ELECTION. You can only vote

in the party you are registered in. If you are registered

Democrat you can only vote Democrat and choose between the Democrat

candidates on the ballots. Same for Republican, only if you are

registered Republican you vote for the Republican candidates.

Independent voters or any other party CAN NOT VOTE IN THIS PRIMARY.

Sure, I'm going to vote. This is a big one. The Democrats will be out in force and will vie for, if not win, most of the seats at all levels. The most important person to VOTE FOR is KATHLEEN RICE. She has proven herself capable and trustworthy enough to take over the State Attorney General's position. She will enhance our justice system, be tough on whatever crimes have priority, also take care of the so-called minor offenses. Drunk drivers, beware. White collar criminals, take notice. Gangstas, watch out. Law-abiding citizens, rejoice!
i will vote for her!

My point sweetie, is someone posted "remember to vote for the person not the party"' I was only attempting to clarify tomorrow is a primary and we are not voting for a party. We only vote for a candidate in either the Democrat or Republican parties. Sorry if you failed to understand MY POINT. There is always, at least, one of you people.
