Sure, I'm going to vote. This is a big one. The Democrats will be out in force and will vie for, if not win, most of the seats at all levels. The most important person to VOTE FOR is KATHLEEN RICE. She has proven herself capable and trustworthy enough to take over the State Attorney General's position. She will enhance our justice system, be tough on whatever crimes have priority, also take care of the so-called minor offenses. Drunk drivers, beware. White collar criminals, take notice. Gangstas, watch out. Law-abiding citizens, rejoice!

I will vote, as usual. One major issue here is we are voting against downstate as well as voting on people and issues. I think Rice, if she can implement MANDATORY prision for corrupt public officials and government employees, is definitely going in the right direction. I need to see her support gun ownership!

I'm a devoted voter. Rudy: You should not let a disappointment in our president keep you for enabling other worthy people from earning public service for us. Katheen Rice, candidate for Attorney General of New York State, is a perfect example. Exemplary record, good person, tough on crime, especially drunk driving, prosecutor of some real perpetrators and degenerates. Vote your mind and your heart! As for Quits of Rochester: No more smoking, great. How long has it been? You will likely get all kinds of advice on this thread, because you will make a lot of "friends" ouot there, those who have successfully quit and others who want to. Best of Luck, pal!

I quit cold turkey with a side of lollipops, it's the fastest way.
I have quit before for five or so years at a time but I ended up at the indian reservation last spring and all the smokes and smoking accessories was too much to resist. They were pushing free cigarette samples at the door of each store. "Sure, I'll just smoke this one and that will be the end of it." For the first three days I try to stay away from people that may irritate me. Hard to do when you work in IT.

Rudy, please do not be discouraged by that...you should exercise your right to vote every time you get the opportunity to do so.

I cast an informed vote in every election we have! Sometimes my candidate wins, sometimes he/she looses and others times the one I voted for won but did not measure up, but that does not discourage me from participating in the next election.

I have several friends and acquaintancies who have quit smoking. Various ways, of course. Lollipops sound like a sweet way. In any case, hang in there. You did it before, you can do it again. Hopefully, for good!

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Leo

This is a great day for fixing things that have gone wrong. If there have been ructions in your relationship with a certain person this is when you can sort things out and get them back on track. If an appliance or gadget is going on the blink, this is your cue to either get it mended or chuck it out and replace it. You may also find time to tidy up your immediate surroundings or take all those bottles and papers to your nearest recycling center. How virtuous you'll feel when it's all done!
