A 15 year old on Sherman Street at 11:00pm. He was probably just on his way home from Bible study or a Junior Achievement meeting.

Make it easier on yourselves, just print when there ISN'T a shooting in the ghetto; you'll save time, and we won't have to pretend to care.

The local politicans and "community leaders" get in front of the cameras and wring their hands in faux-frustration that we can't find a way to provide our youth with safer neighborhoods, all-the-while refusing to blame the residents of those neighborhoods for any of the crime and urban blight. The Mayor wants us to believe that suburanites are sneaking onto Clinton Avenue after dark and selling crack. Can't blame the black residents...the party needs those votes!

Then come the inevitable cries from the community that "we need good jobs"! Believe me, nobody wants you working more than me, however, most businesses aren't in the market for lazy, inexperienced, illiterate a$$holes with a criminal record; so that kind of just leaves you out of the Fortune 500 realm.
