This is without doubt the best pizzaria in the Capital Region. Great service and good prices for 5 star value food. You need to try this place out!

Are you kidding me Billy J? Best on the East coast? I was a little skeptical when I read the first comment by Janet O, where she asserts "best in the Capital Region." Considering pizza sucks in this area, it's not a high bar to begin with, although Mama Mia's Eggplant pie is certainly a trend setter.

Hyperbole is best used in fiction, politics and comparing penis size, not pizza reviews. You must be either senses are dulled by years of smoking Lucky Strikes, numb from drinking a quart of Drano, or you own Inferno Pizza.

I am ordering a large cheese with an antipasto salad right now to judge for myself. I will report back with a review grounded in reality after I'm done.

So, I tried it, and it's not bad. As pizza goes in this area, not bad at all. I think the reason why people like it is because of the large amount of cheese. Good crust, and almost too greesy but it passes the test. Nice sauce, but it could use a little love.

I have not tried Marinos and Two Barney's, but I will have to check it out. Yeah, I was a bit cranky, but I stand by my assertion that pizza in this area is well below the standard one would assume for NY style pizza.

pizza was great. the crust is thin and has a great taste. sauce is very excellent. cheese and sausage just enough. the only problem is, make sure you get it before 10 p.m. after that, the employees do not know to much. and can not make a good pizza.

The truth is in the recipe. Inferno has been a staple throughout the Capital Region and downtown Saratoga is lucky to have it finally arrive.
Hopefully the brand and taste will allow the location to survive versus the multitude of pizza joints (a lot of them tasty also) that left due to lack of business because of its not so perfect location.
It has already taken a lot of pizza business away from one downtown staple just a block away.
The good dough (and taste) always rises to the top.

WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER PAID MONEY FOR!! THE DELIVERY DRIVER TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO GET TO OUR HOUSE (which is right behind the hopital!), my pasta fagilio was split all over the subs and consisted of baked ziti noodles, cerley aND sauce. I guess no one that works there has EVER eaten it before...or they would know pasta and sauce is ziti not soup. the rolls on the meatball and eggplant tasted like they had been sitting in a box for a year. i would never order from this joint again and advise you not to either! I'm a Saratoga Pizza fan for 30 years. I've tried all of them and keep going back to this place. The pizza to me is great and their delivery people are on time and pleasant.Plus a lot of their other menu items are very tasty and a good value price wise. Why change now???

I haven't tried Infernos yet, thanks for the heads up.

I have to agree with the posters who say pizza in this area is not up to par as some other places. Buffalo has strong ethnic roots and the food reflects it! Marino's on Hertel Ave in Buffalo, or Bocce Club Pizza, the wood fired place in New Haven where I used to live, the Luna in Little Italy (is it still open?) The place my dad used to take us for spaghetti (we didn't call it pasta) when we were kids in Buffalo.

Oh yeah, these places dish out way better 'za than we have here. I've been searching but Marinos will always have my heart. It's the crust. They get it.

Wings.*sigh* We call them wings in Buffalo, not Buffalo wings. After years away, I've been back to the Anchor Bar a few times and wow! My memory hadn't built them up above reality!!! Light years beyond even decent wings here.(To say nothing of the breaded, deep fried, formerly frozen corporate wings drowning in brown barbecue sauce you sometimes see around here. Or being handed tabasco sauce if you ask for them hot. What's that about!!??) Duffs, another great place for wings in Buffalo.*sigh*

Really good food is worth remembering and revisiting. I hear Obama is bringing Chicago pizza for the Inauguration. That says it all. Thanks again for the heads up on Infernos.

You guys are off your rockers. I've eaten a few of their places. Very dirty, dingy and gross. They just happen to be open a lot later.
Did I mention it was dirty? They don't ever wash the pans the pizza is cooked it. They throw them off to the side, then will immediately put dough back in it. Granted its in an over but still.
Plus, cheap imitation cheese (hence all the oil). But, as one poster above said, I'm actually Italian so I'm hard to empress. I guess if you are used to Pizza Hut and Dominoes it isn't bad.

I have been searching the planet for a good pizza pie. Where is it? Effie and Willie Ando say its in Manila. Are they crazy, the dough cant rise in that humidity. Balut. Vince Aruajo the little drummer boy also known as Vicente or San Vicente or Vincenzo says to ask Alex the Astronaut as he is a pizza afficiando. And what does the Naut say go to Vitos Pizza or Caffe Carrera both on La Cienega blvd north and south. There you have it, in the words of Gonzo All right.

Gotcha's in downtown Saratoga has some really good pizza. It is hearty and can fill you with two slices. It also tastes great the next day. Cannot beat it in the area unless you want new york style. then go to Pope's

I am the supreme commander of Latham Inferno. Maybe some people dont care, but I am all about the quality. Most people working here really dont care, neither do the owners. My hours got cut to reduce payroll. I've been an employee there for years. Dont worry, once my stupid asshole boss quits (1 more week thank god) I will be Master Commander of all Infernos. Your food will be fantastic, you'll love it.
