It is the Town of Day, near Hadley/Corinth. There are many, many stories about the place. It is referred to Allentown because of the family "relations". There is Allen mountain (Not the real name.)where the 'hardcore' members of the Allen family live. There is only one road in/up and one road out.

any tips as to whether it would be safe to take some pics? I do not like the idea of one way in/out!

Be careful! They definetely do not like "outsiders". I grew up in the area so I'm somewhat familiar with the place.

I'm told the troopers, sherriff and other law enforcement officials are very hesitant to enter the area. That came from someone I personally know who "bartered" with an Allentown Resident. Said resident received the item, recipient of the work got nothing. Cops would not persue it...

White trash? your white trash...seriously, cant you people just leave us alone up here? What, because some people on the road are very poor you have to pick on them for it? Your scum...actually why dont you come up to my house and take pictures? I live in a brand new $550,000 house and my husband and I probably make more money then anyone on this site..and theres probably 6 more families with bigger houses then us on the road but you dont pick on us huh? but let me tell you what, if people showed up at your house all the time bugging you and picking on you, would you greet them kindly? No. Seriously, man up and get a real job loser.

When bartering doesn't work out, it's not a police matter. It's civil. "Let the buyer beware". The alternative is to sue in court. That may not be worth the trouble.

Deal with reputable and established retailers instead of strangers.
