They have developed a cure for the dreadful disease, already. It's still in developement but it just saved the Doctor and the Missionary they flew back to the USA. Could they do more? Of course ! They could send $10 Trillion per year over there to feed everyone forever. Plunge us even farther into deficit land. Get real do more? They've already done it!
Two patients surviving is not a definitive cure or even proof of mitigation of the disease. Statistically it is well within the bounds of just a possible coincidence.

There is also now a new outbreak of a different strain of ebola in Congo

One of the worst problems is the lack of education. The people there seem to not get how the virus is transmitted and don't take precautions with the sick and the dead. They think it's witchcraft or vaccines. The survivors also continue to be infectious for at least a few months by way of sex and breast feeding, yet few mention that.

You've been farting your little butt off lately. It might be time to consider a high colonic. I get them all the time and they're a real gas, no pun intended. They help clean out my insides.

Garbage in, garbage out.
If you don't put garbage in, you won't have to go to such drastic lengths to get the garbage out.
Nobody should need to constantly go for high colonics. Your doctor is an ass (pun intended) and so are you.

My husband and I are no longer compatible so we sleep in separate rooms. However, once a year we set aside our differences and come together of a night of passion. I always get an enema and douche beforehand because my husband likes to take me in every hole. Even though I can't stand the sight of him, this one evening is bliss as we bring each other to the heights of ecstasy over and over again. So my reasons are pure and simple and the only butt face in here is you.

If the serum that has been developed works, then we need to send that to the places affected.
Other than that, the U.S. cannot really do a thing. We have our own problems as it is.

It's true that I now prefer the soft caress of a woman but I was raised to not believe in divorce. Besides, my husband is quite wealthy and he supplies my every need. It's a small price to pay to have to cook and clean for him to be able to live in a nice house and entertain my woman friends during the day. Their soft lips and nimble fingers provide me with the relief that my body aches for and bring me an insane amount of pleasure. Once a year it is nice to be with a man, though, even if it is my husband who smells of gin and sour defeat. It would be unseemly for me to offer him a dirty bung or a smelly beaver, however, so I get them cleaned out nicely before our one evening. You should try it, especially if you're the type of man who enjoys being rimmed by his significant other.

So, you DONT clean yourself out for the ladies, who you seem to now prefer. Why not ? They don't want a smelly beaver either. You sound hideous. Why would you clean and cook for a man that you no longer care about ? You are a fool. Just move out and let him fend for himself. If you need a dick once a year, I'm sure that some man would do it for you.

I have quite a busy schedule so I don't always take the time to wipe properly. That doesn't make me a bad person, and neither does the fact that I abhor divorce. Besides, my lady friends are not tail gunners like my husband is, so they don't even notice if I have a few dingleberries. You certainly are a crude and rude man, using vulgar language like you do on a public forum. You are the one who sounds hideous. Besides, lesbianism is en vogue these days so engaging in a little carpet munching makes me hip.

Seriously, there is a book titled The Hot Zone. I read it back years ago. Scared the crap out of me. Its about Ebola and marlburg disease. If you are concerned get the book and read it. Then read Saved By The Light. I figure that little computerchip will have that germ in it. The government will kill a lot of us off when we are no longer useful.
Just my thoughts.

Not that simple. My understanding is the "serum" is not made in a laboratory. It made from genetically engineered tobacco plants. What they had was small amounts produced for testing. To make more they have to grow more of the special tobacco plants. That will take until this time next year. Another question too. Just how many seed do they have of the special tobacco plants? What it it is just a few? That mean another year to grow more seed.

So you think you are hip and lesbianism is en vogue these days. What planet are you from ?
Being gay is fine, but being a lesbian because it's en vogue as you say, is just crap. You just sound like a selfish twit. You don't love your husband so do him a favor and leave him. Do you live in Texas or The Villages or both ? You're probably a fat old fuck with tits down to your knees.

An Ebola outbreak in the US is unlikely. It sets up shop in countries that have starvation, malnutrition and polluted water supplies. Now Mexico, Central America and South American countries maybe a different story.

I disagree. An Ebola outbreak in the USA is a virtual certainty. It will be easier to contain here, but even then it will seriously disrupt life in affected areas. The effect on the economy will be substantial. And that is just taking into account accidental importation from Africa. Ebola could become the "poor man's atomic bomb" for terrorists. In the past that was not too likely because the virus was rare. Now, with it becoming widespread in Africa, the chance of terrorists getting hold of it is much greater. Once they have it... Well it is just a matter of a few suicide volunteers and the cost of a plane ticket.

- Ebola and other zoonotic diseases are spreading to humans from animals.

- Animal-to-human transmission occurs through contact with wild animals or livestock.

- Sometimes a mutation in the virus / bacteria is also needed.

- Human activity is *rapidly* increasing both the frequency of contact and the opportunities for mutation.

- Deforestation is increasing human exposure to wild animals (bats, primates, etc.) that are good candidates for carrying these diseases.

- Intensive agriculture (e.g. pig and chicken farming that is cramming more and more animals into smaller, filthier space) creates conditions for rapid developments of viable mutations.

- Raising different species of livestock in close proximity also increases opportunities for viruses to spread across species and mutate.

- One could take the view that humans are the virus, and that infectious diseases are simply part of nature's immune system, in counteracting human destructiveness.
