Romney in his own words states that he has given 10% of his time to the Mormon Church for years. Like the Unification Church, the Mormons claim to have THE prophet guiding them. The elite lily white governing body of the entire church is ALL white and generally elderly. Romney has said that once becoming president, the church will have no influence on him. I find this hard to believe.
The Mormon Church is not a mainstream religion as is President Obama's affiliation with the Congregational Church. I don't believe the country EVER needs a Mormon president. More power to the Mormons for being charitable and sincere, that is not the major pre-requisite for representing America as president, even though it sounds great.
