Now that one can pay most if not all their bills online, send emails etc. online, the price of sending a letter at 42 cents is still a bargin. I would like to see the Sentinel write articles that are actually worth mentioning. Hey Sentinel, why not write an artical about freezing property taxes for people who have lived in their homes for over 5 years. Under Prop.13 property taxes increase 2% a year. My property taxes have doubled since I have bought my house. Their needs to be a cap for long term occupancy so the people who retire can actually afford to keep their homes into their golden years.
