The more you do your research on this company the more and more you will find questionable business practices. Bluntly put "Pyramid Scheme"! It seems everyday that goes by, something new comes out that exposes Monavie as a Fraud. If you do your research you will find this company has a history with the FDA, SEC, FTC and BBB just to name a few. The media is already killing Monavie – Newsweek, Forbes, Men’s Journal, Huffington Post, Palm Beach Post, Fox News Utah , and Andrew Weil, to name a few, have all trashed Monavie and/or its business practices. Men's Journal says it tested *Extremely Low* on many their test performed. In fact Tropicana Orange Juice and Welch's Grape Juice ranked higher in their test and cost a fraction of what Monavie cost.

Monavie UNSATISFACTORY rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB): http://utah.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx...
Better Business Bureau is for the consumer protection to help you find trustworthy businesses and charities. BBB is an unbiased non-profit organization that sets and upholds high standards for fair and honest business behavior. Monavie has not meet BBB standards of being Fair, ethical, trustworthy, and honest.

Monavie has already been cited once by the FDA on July 6, 2007 for illegal health claims by one of MonaVie's Top distributors, Kevin Vokes, that help start Monavie. http://www.fda.gov/cder/warn/cyber/2007/UTVok... .

You can report this scam at FTC website: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wiz...
It's very easy to do and only takes a few minutes to fill out. It only takes 20 complaints to the FTC, to trigger an investigation into this pyramid scheme, then the FTC will work with BBB to further their investigation and then involve Attorney Generals of each state if need be. The Unsatisfactory rating with BBB on Monavie will amplify FTC quick and decisive measures to have this scam shut down.

Quick do your part before other harmless people are scammed.

Sounds like Monavie reps love using deceptive tactics to build their business.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll pass this positive information along.

Another interesting thing about this company is the history on Dr. Alxander G. Schauss. He did the 12 person clinical study on Monavie, which is not a legitimate published study, just a press release from AIBMR Life Sciences, a research–for-hire company owned and operated by Schauss.
He was nailed for faking his credentials. He falsely claimed to have his PhD when he was still a student working towards the degree. The institution where he ultimately got his degree ( California Coast University ) wasn’t even accredited. http://www.accessmylibrary.com/coms2/summary_... Then Dr. Schauss made the news again a few years later with the National Council Against Health Fraud, Inc. http://www.accessmylibrary.com/coms2/summary_... also http://www.lysator.liu.se/skeptical/newslette... FDA agents and King County Sheriff’s Office personnel raided the alternative-medicine clinic in Kent, Washington, they seized illegally imported drugs, unapproved medical devices, and other items at the Schauss’s Clinic. This is the same Dr. that Monavie is proud to have performed their illegitimate press release study on a juice that doesn’t even rank high on legitimate studies. Just makes me sick knowing people are being ripped off by this company, Monavie reps try to defend it…… stupid is as stupid does.

When you build your business on unethical medical claims it will eventually catch up to you.

all you have to do is drink the juice and realize that there is something to it. they make no medical claims. why do you insist on messing with something that really is none of your business. if you don't like it then don't get involved but lots of people are feeling great on the juice and some others are making money from a legitimate direct selling company.

I can go to my local supermarket or Wal-Mart and buy a 33oz of Tropicana Pure with Acai mixed with raspberry that is refrigerated for around $3. It last a whole week if I drink 4 ounces a day. Taste much better than Monavie's junk. That should tell you something about Monavie being overpriced juice to support a pyramid scheme. The ones who do not do their research are the onces spending almost $150-including S&H. That is just plain dumb, but if the sales reps enjoy wasting money go right ahead.

I filed my complaint to the FTC last year.

"They make no medical claims"...you have got to be kidding moron. Who are you referring to? All of you reps make claims to your friends and family, how else are you going to be able to sell this overprice crap. Lies are all you monavie distributors have in order to try to sell something worthless and overpriced.

"Messing with something that is really non of your business." Are you on crack?

I seen this scam through my neighbor, stuff taste awful and is overpriced. Not something you want to do. She talked about how it cured her illness, but yet if she's off of it, it comes back. Sounds like a drug to me, only masking the symptoms. Monavie is a scam.

You have no facts to base your claims against MonaVie. It has been proven by countless Doctors that the antioxidants in the Acai berry are far superior to any other fruit. I have compared the grocery store brands to MonaVie and they are sugar water. Mona Vie is the only one that has a processing plant in the Amazon. The Acai loses 2/3 of its nutrients within 48 hours of harvest. The copycats are not even close in comparison. I just started buying the product and I did my research. you must be a disgruntled ex-monavie distributor or with a competetive product. Give it up. Tens of thousands of new customers are coming to MonaVie every day. they would not have sold a billion dollars of product in their first 3 years if they were a pyramid or had an overpriced poor tasting product. Everyone I know loves the taste. You are the dishonest one. People should try it for themselves. I felt results within 3 days. Distributors will let you try it for free. The company philosophy is to share it, not sell it. So I hope people will judge for themselves. It is a fantastic product. (Coming from someone at the bottom.)

I also checked on your BBB info. All 36 complaints were resolved and the majority were just regarding autoship billing cancellations. Think about it, any company that grows at a rate of 900% per year is going to have some complaints. There are people that will complain no matter how hard you try and stisfy them. Some peole just like to complain. My experience is this. I had a case that was frozen outside my door since I live in MN. It was not MonaVie's fault, yet they still sent a replacement for me. The customer service is top notch. Let's do the math, you have 360,000+ customers, you get 36 complaints. I would say that is pretty respectful. Where do you work?

Janie, your links don't work on Dr Schauss. Try this one http://www.vrp.com/drschauss.aspx . He has an incredible amount of credintials. Why don't you look at the doctors that are actually the founders of Monavie. Let's see if you find anything on their credentials.

Where do you people come from? Oh, I bet I know, Amway maybe?

Craig H., your Monavie juice must be impairing your vision with deception becuase the links provided by Janie work for me. The truth is there!

The headlines say.

"Diet & behavior "expert" fakes his credentials.
(Alexander G. Schauss)"

"FDA clinic raid panics maverick medics' community.(includes comment)(Jonathan Wright and alternative medicine)"

"FDA CLINIC RAID PANICS MAVERICK MEDIC'S COMMUNITY,
Reprinted from NCAHF Newsletter"

Wow the facts must hurt Craig! I bet if you let go of the baby bottle monavie juice you will be able to think straight and quit spouting off lies.... that is just awful about Schauss, why do you dumb reps continue to support criminals and rapist.

By the way Craig, do you have any facts to back up your claim about monavie is proven by countless Doctors that the antioxidants in the Acai berry are far superior to any other fruit. I will give you facts that it is not with research already done on another blog. "the data Monavie LLC generated in their clinical trial showed that their juice has a lower ORAC score than grape juice. The Men’s Journal/Chromadex report also showed Monavie to be inferior to grape juice (and apple juice) with respect to antioxidant vitamin content, and another published study (Seeram et al. J Agric Food Chem. 2008;56:1415-22) again showed that acai juice had a lower ORAC than grape juice. The Monavie bottle label lists grape juice as the second most abundant ingredient; Monavie has weaker antioxidant properties than grape juice — and yet Monavie sells for 25 times more than grape juice (and is promoted on the basis of its antioxidant properties)."

Comment1379 a blogger on that last link will provide excellent research and links that debunks your lies on antioxidants Craig!

BBB still shows Unsatisfactory, not good for a MLM business!

Fastest growing company in America, a billion in sales, moving to other countries, the Boston Red Sox endorse it, its been on magazine covers, the acai is established, I can go on. I drink it, I get results. Is it a miracle drink? NO, just a catalyst for better health. Would you like to diversify your income and get a little healthier at the same time?
Bottom line, quality product at a quality cost. The more people you help, not just sign em up, the less the cost will be for you. Wellness and Networking are the next big trends just like Technology was 20 years ago. It's just going to happen and you cannot stop it.
