Livermore is a mini Nazi police state. It gives more driving while drinking tickets then any other place in CA, which says a lot about how they view the police for revenue. The Livermore police are more paranoid, useless and harass people more then any city i ever lived in, which includes LA, Wash. DC and Boston. I've heard of them using 10 cops with shotguns plus dogs to arrest one unarmed teen. They arrested and strip searched one young girl for a parking ticket.

As part of the program to scare kids right, they took the local high school girls to the county jail where they were stripped searched.

You can`t go any where in Livermore without passing more then one cop especially late at night. I find it disgusting that some view this as right in America.

LPD Blue.... I think the folks at LPD would be a little appalled by some of your comments. I know you are trying to be supportive, but your comments are adding to the a lot of peoples FALSE sense of racism and prejudice within the police community. I hope during your time in the Marine Corp you mature a bit...and if you do come back to be a police officer, I hope you realize that race is not a factor.... If a person is a criminal, then they are a criminal... If a person is a gang member, then they are a gang member...and this includes people from all races, religions etc.... I don't think you meant to come across the way you did, but if you wanna be a police officer, you have to learn to watch what you say (or type). Digusted - I would really like you to make an attempt to prove any of the following:

Any city or county recieves direct revenue from DUI arrests.
Any HS female was taken to jail and stripped searched.

Furthermore, you know nothing about any event where 10 cops and a k9 arrested a juvenile. You only "heard" about it.

I don't mind when people have problems with the police and can base their comments with factual information. You are just a straight liar. Of course, the police will never recieve the respect they deserve, but that goes with the territory.
