Us Geologic Survey files and numerous studies from universities nationwide have made it clear that more than 2,000 complex chemical compounds of varying toxicity are found in the Sacramento and Colorado rivers that fill our reservoirs.

These pollutants come from sewage effluent, dumped into them by cities, overloaded with the multitude of medicines we use and the many other chemicals from our sinks and bathtubs. They come from farmyard and field runoff carrying medicines used on animals and pesticides-herbicides-fungicid es from croplands. They come from mine, factory and street runoff carrying heavy metals, oils, greases, and synthetic chemicals.

This mass of contamination is pumped from rivers into canals to flow hundreds of miles in sunlight that generates interactions with synergistic effects too complicated for scientists to comprehend.

Is it only coincidental that autism-asthma-cancer have reached epidemic levels among the 17 million Southern Californians who are forced to drink this toxic cocktail>

We could be drinking only the pure water lying unused beneath our cities in much greater quantity than we need. But that would require choosing a majority of competent and honest politicians for a change, sensible citizens instead of professional liars. They would hire and properly instruct our public servants for a change so that the commonsense rainwater management advocated by every conscientious expert would finally be adopted to meet all our needs.

The rainfall runoff flowing into SD reservoirs is pure, salt-free until MWD
water is dumped into it. This blending is not "storage for emergencies"
as water managers claim. No, that slimy salty imported water is
diluted by our pure rain, enough to make it pass federal quality rules.

So we've been locked into another $13,000 debt to pay off per home by
our public servants solely to preserve their job security, not because it
was necessary. They import Colorado River Water so salty it can't be
cost--effectively recycled. That justifies dumping 50 bilion gallons of
it to the ocean instead of selling it to irrgators. And that alows them to
import that much more each year, enriching their cronies by another
$664+ billion dollars yearly.

This importation is unnecessary, the County receives 22 times as much rain as its hjouseholds use. But we elect enough fools so the
water and public works managers are able to push their misplanning
through and so extort $1,100+ per home yearly in tax-utility dolars
for unnneeded services and facilities.

California Water Code orders to store "all or any stomwaters for
pubic use" have been flagrantly violated by County and city officials
with no action by the County DA or City Attorneys.

Will the same politicians be elected again despite this misplanning?
Most likely yes, becaus our news services are given good reason to
pretend they cannot see this orchestrated criminal activity.
