A crucial factor in the records of these candidates separates them.

Only Fletcher is not a member of the "in town" club that has grossly
mismanaged the most critical elements of our personal economics,
outrageous property taxes and utility bills.

In '03 the City Council took $670 from each family on average to
manage our City's affairs.
In 2013 it demands $1,450, to pay its pensions and enrich croines.

Would it be smart to re-elect these Council members?

They forced us to pay $200 million for "Storm Water Compliance"
over the past 6 years. That's $400 per home to build devices
that purify runoff before dumping it downstream.
The feds say guiding this runoff through cleansing soil into wellwater
instead would save $350 yearly per home for imported water.

That total cost of $750 yearly per home would have built the simple
devices that guide our runoff into groundwater storage, so that in
every following year we'd be saving that much, accumulating to a
$45,000 dollar payback per home over the next 20 years.

Should we re-elect the same people who could not see this
and instruct our public servants properly?

In Fletcher we have a competent manager who can see all this and
has proven that he would act on it. The millions being spent by local
"good ol' boys" on negative ads to defeat him tells us all we need to
know about their power to mislead our Council so that their extortion through our government can continue.

- Notice of Public Hearing -November 21, 2013 10:00 a.m.
City Administration Building 202 C Street, 12th Floor

It may seem like attending this meeting would be a waste
of time but if too few citizens participate in water planning
a $14,000-plus debt will be placed against each of our
homes.(Exceeding $20,000 to pay off.) Without firm
voices speaking out the deceit of lowering water rates
slightly for a year before boosting them considerably will
fool politicians into not realizing the reduction that water
hogs will receive because of absurd planning in progres.

So a huge scam will continue, orchestrated by cunning
profiteers in our private sector who rob us through the
public works and water district managers commissioners
they've fooled, coerced, corrupted.(The present rate of
expenditure exceeds $11 million daily for services and
facilities that will not be needed after federal agencies
force San Diego County and City to comply with their
regulations and the California Water Code.)

50,000 City water customers will be using more than
the other 450,000 put together and paying half as
much per gallon with these new rates. Such a deal!

A wise, honest Mayor would expose and correct this
massive interactive scam. But San Diego's "Old Guard" of
Council members and City Attorney have shown they are
deficient in one or the other of these critical qualities and
the profiteers are spending lavishly to defeat Fletcher.
